Lovely grounds. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable room and beds. The young, clearly inexperienced waiting staff at dinner struggled a bit but will soon meet the standards of the rest of the staff. We hope to stay again.GOOGLE REVIEW

We have just got back from 2 nights away here and really enjoyed it. We arrived a bit earlier than check in, to a very friendly guy on reception, the room wasn’t quite ready so we got a drink at the bar and went and enjoyed the beautiful grounds outside. The helpful receptionist came and told us as soon as it was ready which was still earlier than check in. We paid for the lowest price room which was a lot larger than expected, basic but clean, tidy and had all we needed. Everything in working neat order. We didn’t use the pool or restaurant so can’t comment. However breakfast was a good, standard hotel buffet breakfast, with a range. I can see how people with allergies may have found it more difficult. It’s about a 10/15 minute walk to some really great bars and restaurants or only a 25/30min walk to the city centre. It’s also a short drive to river riverlin for a beautiful walk. The fact that this hotel is also dog friendly is a real bonus for us! We really liked our stay and would recommend for a few days exploring Sheffield.GOOGLE REVIEW

What a great weekend we had. 8 of attached to a bigger group. There was an Elvis Presley show on Friday evening . There is a tranquil lake for quiet strolls. The breakfast buffet was always well stocked, never waited for any refills. The functions manager 'Dave ' was an absolute gem. Funny , entertaining, and most of all efficient. Our spa treatments were excellent. My wife had a facial with Ginny, lovely girl. I cannot remember the girl's name for my full body massage. There were 2 weddings on whilst we were at Kenwood Hall, as well as other functions. , So the staff should be praised for never looking rushed. David Hills.GOOGLE REVIEW

Went to a wedding, which the location was stunning, and in all honesty if I was booking just to visit, I would give it 5 stars! The Venue is fantastic and the staff where all nice and friendly although could have done with a bit more training in some areas as it was the first BIG wedding after lockdown, that is fine.. Drinks are about average for a wedding venue, but lack of choice as they hadn't bothered stocking up before hand left you with little choice and G&T charge £1.50 for a splash of lemonade is a bit excessive, but to be expected The Main disappointment was the rooms! £119 for 1 night! They needed a little TLC we booked a Premium Double, Nothing like the photo's we'd seen! It was something out of the 80's The Fridge had been removed, apparently they stopped advertising these rooms with Fridges, as I was paying for Premium I'd expect that room to have a fridge and the basic rooms not to have a fridge, from other guests, their basic room had a fridge!? the cupboard was hanging off where the fridge went. Bathroom, the shower head was held up with some kind of makeshift pin, when you turned it on it just slide down cost about £3-5 to replace The enamel was peeling of the sink and looked as though it needed a good clean Toilet roll holder missing, old toilet roll holder coming away from the wall Tiles coming away from the wall All above cheap fixes until they re decorated the room, which would have made for a more pleasant stay! Stained carpets - can't be that much to clean? Widow ledge, 2 holes with screws holding it on, again they could have just put some filler over them and a bit of paint. Screws left in wall where I think they have removed a trouser press or something? Plenty of dated sockets at floor level but nothing at table level to stick your phone charger in. Would recommend a visit to the Hall, or using it as a venue, but wouldn't recommend staying the night unless they plan on a missive renovation of the dated roomsGOOGLE REVIEW

Honestly it was awful! we were booked to stay for 2 nights and only stayed for 1, they had 2 weddings going on during our stay so that meant that the normal restaurant wasn't accessible, I asked if we could book a table for the Laura Ashley Tea room which is where the dinner service has been changed to only to be told that it was fully book and was closed during the day even though you can book for lunch on the website. I understand things get booked up but surely you would count the amount of people you have staying and make sure there is enough tables for everyone? The breakfast was god awful even my dog didn't eat it. One of the men on reception was so rude. I complained to the company I originally booked through when we got home and it took weeks to get a response from the so called manager here, then when we finally did get a response it was nothing but rude and to be honest a child could have come up with a better reply and insinuating that I was lying about only staying for one night.GOOGLE REVIEW
