Two spacious floors of a former Victorian warehouse on Leonard Street have been kitted out for daytime eating, drinking, thinking & meeting. The interior blends the raw, pared-down character of the factory building with layers of bespoke furniture, mosaics and graphic lighting features, as well as the constantly evolving exhibitions that adorn the walls. Its open, airy, drowning in natural light and the perfect environment for meetings, lunches, an afternoon cocktail or a quick game of ping pong!
At night, The Book Club offers a cultural revolution to the East End’s social scene turning the conventional arts institution on its head, fusing boozing with brain power every night of the week through our thought provoking program of Superculture events. At the weekend we step it up a notch with clubs nights from local and national promoters featuring DJs such as Scroobius Pip, Roots Manuva, DJ EZ, Craig Charles and Norman Jay.
Hire this self-contained ping pong room for a number of events - meetings, team away days, arts and crafts workshop or of course, a good game of ping pong! The Ping Pong room is available to hire Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

January – November Bookings If a booking is cancelled (by registered post or email only) • 2 months in advance of the Access Time, we will refund 90% of the deposit. • More than 1 month in advance of the Access Time, but less than 2 months, any deposit paid will not be refunded. • Less than 1 month in advance up until the Access Time, any deposit paid will not be refunded and we will issue an invoice for immediate payment of the contracted balance. April 2024place was pretty cool however extremely loud. had a great time last night being served by Joao being both a great bar tender and small-talk-companion Julie was a killer host with her fluffy bucket hat sorting out any and all problems that arose during my time at the book club not sure of the man’s name but whoever was also working in kitchen was great sorting out any mistakes that arose with food, even if they were mine! would recommend, the staff were all more than just friendly - you feel like you’re talking to a real human and not a customer service bot security was also very present making sure to make the place both feel and look secure for its customers in short, 10/10 experience and will recommend to friends

May 2024I think someone forced the staff to work there because they really didn't want to answer us and take an order and make us our drinks!!! They were so angry and they worked too slow. We waited for about 45 minutes for a Fries and a Nachos! I really liked the atmosphere but I don't recommend here because of the staff
