Basement Sate brings a healthy dose of Parisian chic to the centre of Soho. A venue with its fingers in many pies, this is your go-to bar if you're searching for a quick sweet nibble, a drink with friends and some hardcore dancing towards the end of the night. The bar itself embodies the characteristics of London's finer bars; dark wood, intimate spaces, exposed brick and design-led interiors. The focus here is more on the details in the food and drinks however. Well made drinks, meaningful music, decadent desserts in the heart of Soho.

Loved the concept of the bar. A little tricky to find but quickly figured out it was the big red door! That’s the charm I am told. The cocktails were decent and the staff were very friendly, would definitely recommend for a cute speakeasy vibe in central London.

One of my favourite cocktail bar in Soho! Cocktails are fantastic, great creations but also the bartenders can do all the classic cocktails. The staff is friendly and professional with extremely knowledgeable bartenders. A plus for the whisky selection and possibility to have hand made desserts. A hidden gem!

The cocktails were really good, my favourite being the After State which I think is a play on After Eight chocolates as was a mint chocolate drink. The staff friendly and prompt and the price very reasonable. It was a little loud but overall had a great time.
