About Venue

Down a flight of stairs behind a red door on Broadwick Street, Basement Sate is the room most of Soho walks past without knowing it's there. Low candlelight, raw brick, dark wood panelled snugs and deep green leather, a genuinely atmospheric space that makes any occasion feel like a secret worth keeping.

Take the whole venue for up to 110 guests (60 seated) and you get a private bar pouring serious cocktails, a DJ booth, a late licence to 1am with extensions, and a team that runs the night so you don't have to. Bespoke cocktail packages, a celebrated dessert menu, and the kind of room people remember.

Ideal for midweek corporate socials and team drinks, client entertaining, Christmas parties, birthdays, leaving drinks, networking, and product launches. Tuesday to Thursday is our sweet spot for company events, the whole hidden basement to yourselves, from £3,000.

The cocktails we ordered were delicious, highly recommended and good value for money considering they were in central London. It's a shame that if anyone has limited mobility, access isn't easy (as far as we can see, there are only stairs).

This bar is one of my favorite in London. Its peculiarly is to be located in the middle of soho among chaos and tourists, but the place is actually downstairs and hidden. Very calm and quiet, perfect to bring someone for having an interesting conversation. This bar is divided in many sections having also “more hidden” areas where to have some privacy. Cocktails were really good and well priced
