Sonning Golf Club is a licensed venue for holding Civil and Civil Partnership wedding ceremonies. Planning your day is one of the most important aspects of any wedding and our professional team will be able to give you all the advice you need with lots of new ideas. When your vows have been exchanged, you and your guests can relax and enjoy a special wedding breakfast to remember.

With its beautiful Terrace and Patio overlooking the golf course and a modern and spacious Clubhouse, Sonning Golf Club is the perfect venue for your wedding breakfast. Whether you are having a small intimate reception or a larger celebration, we will ensure that your special day is one that you will always remember.

Our Clubhouse can host up to 180 guests and with a range of options and packages to suit all budgets why not make an appointment and come and see for yourself what Sonning has to offer.

CIVIL CEREMONIES & PARTNERSHIPS IN BERKSHIRE
Sonning Golf Club is a licensed civil wedding venue for hosting Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnership Ceremonies in Berkshire for up to 140 guests. The Clubhouse patio area overlooking the golf course is the perfect backdrop for photographs and reception drinks.

Planning your ceremony is one of the most important parts of your special occasion; and our professional Co-ordinators will be able to provide planning advice upon request.

Make your ceremony an occasion to remember for a lifetime. After your vows are exchanged, invite your guests to a gourmet Wedding Breakfast, to continue the celebration.

If do you choose to hold your civil ceremony at the Sonning Golf Club, the booking procedure is as follows. We would first ask that you check that the venue has availability on the required date. If the date is available we can provisionally hold this for you for up to one week. You would then need to check that the registrar has availability on the same date and at a time which is suitable to the venue and yourselves. If this is available you would then make a booking with the registrar and then confirm back with the venue. At this point the venue would take a non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. We would also require you to sign and return a copy of our terms and conditions.

Please note that due to licensing laws, food and drink cannot be served in the same room as the civil ceremony one hour before or one hour after the wedding.

Very good golf course with some great 400 yard plus par 4s. Will test your driving as it has to be straight and long. Over 6000 yards, the back nine very tough. Greens hard and fast.
