My partner and I recently got married and this venue is amazing. The food was gorgeous and everything ran smoothly. Such a beautiful place to get married and the Ashfield House staff and team are second to none. We were really looked after and the bridal suite is stunning, also has a massive bath which is a nice way to end a wedding day with some champagne. I highly recommend this place for weddings. The occasion was a delayed wedding reception due to the Covid restrictions . It went well in a relaxed and happy atmosphere in a very pleasant setting. I got the impression that there may have been confusion in the presentation of the meal in that it appeared that each meal had been reproduced in smaller versions with the intention that we could sample each others selection which did not work very well on my table of eight persons . Overall it was as pleasant an experience as you could wish for and I feel sure all persons left the occasion happy . I certainly did . I would like to try it on a less formal occasion to give a star rating.

If you have Ashfield House on your wedding venue shortlist, please choose them. They made my re-arranged, COVID-19 wedding magical. Nothing was too much trouble, the venue was superb and the staff even better. From the morning to the evening we had the best day of our lives and it's down to the team at Ashfield. We cannot recommend them enough.

Just beautiful. Staff always helpful and food is excellent . I've never had bad food here and I've been to its of functions here. Well worth a look...

Excellent location for a wedding. Food was very tasty. Very professional service and staff first class. Rooms slightly costly at £145 for B & B. Furniture in bar area looking tired. Room was spotless. Ample car parking available.
