I’m sick of this delivery office. There is a particular post man that is suppose to deliver to Hackney, he leaves his items in the van when he is not bothered to deliver and then delivers on a Sunday! It’s completely ridiculous. I paid for next day delivery with ASOS and it always comes late! Lazy centre. He also lies that the address is ‘inaccessible’ just so he doesn’t have to deliver.

I have had to use this collection office (not through choice) for the last few years and the service has been a bit of 'hit and miss' at times. It's never been brilliant but usually managed to get my post even if it meant having to deal with rude and unhelpful staff at times. My most recent experience was week where after several failed attempts at long queues during reduced opening hours I finally managed to get to the front desk. Only to have my red card returned saying 'it's not here'. And expecting me to just go away. It seems like any information they have about your delivery is a closely guarded secret and only given to you in small portions and only if you ask...!! So where is my parcel I ask. ...It's not here and you have to contact the number on the card. Why is is not here? ...Gone to the sender. It's only been 12days since the card was left, look at the date on the card? ...Call the number on the card. There's no reference number on my card, how will they know. Can I have the number from your system? ...Call the number on the card. Should the item not still be here, it's only 12days? ...We've had it since 2nd March! How was I supposed to know if the card was only left on the 27th March? ...call the number and explain. Our system also shows you've booked delivery twice before that date. How is that possible if I only knew about it on the 27th? ...call the number and explain. So I left disappointed having waited 5 days to be able to get to the collection office and wasting a further 20min waiting in queue outside. Call 'the number on the card' surprise surprise it was an automated service which allowed me to book a delivery for saturday. Saturday came and went waited all day, and guess what? No delivery!!! Called the seller and got the tracking number, checked online to see it has gone to the sender on 29th (only 2 days after the card was left) but the sender didn't receive it either. Called another number and spoke to a person finally only to be told royal mail don't have it and there's not much they can do. What a waste of everyone's time. I know Royal Mail are very busy but you would expect them to be able to do the only thing they are there to do!! Very rude and unhelpful staff, extremely disappointed with the poor level of service and the reluctance to help customers, from now on where possible I will choose a different provider.

Staff was extremely unhelpful and rude!!! Doesn’t even deserve a star. I came to collect my parcel and redirected me back and forth to a wrong post office and then later on blame customers. That white lady on 50+++ lacks customer service and empathy. She only has to work from 8am-10am for collection and for 2 hours can’t even show a bit of empathy. If you don’t like your job, quit! Someone else deserves your job.

I honestly don't know where to start and how to say it. So I'll just keep it short and tell you that this is definitely the worst office I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot in multiple countries. Whatever you do, stay away from Royal Mail! Even if it's free!!

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all ignore the purpose of our jobs and cut our working hours back to suit ourselves? Inspired by the shining example of Whitechapel sorting office I am now only going to complete about half my workload, the jobs which I do attempt I will try only once, extremely half-heartedly, and if anyone has a problem with that they can only discuss it with me in person between 11.12 and 11.17am on the third Tuesday of the month which I assume suits everyone. Alternatively you can call and listen to a recorded message describing how I am definitely going to do my work which won't be at all annoying when I have been promising to do it for the last 2 weeks with no hint of progress.
