My first stay at the hotel! I was staying for a friends birthday and we were celebrating locally, so I booked this hotel for convenience and it turned out to be really good. I had a very comfortable room that was more than spacious, warm, with good clean facilities I stayed for the weekend so was in the hotel for two evenings. The hotel was very busy with guests but the rooms and corridors were very quiet during the night so it was perfect! We had breakfast together as a large group and they were very accommodating with the service and even brought a surprise birthday cake for my friend who was celebrating. We returned from dinner one evening and sat in the hotel bar until 1 am, and the staff were very helpful and courteous and a really comfortable lounge area worth cosy fires and comfy sofas, Highly recommended

Really nice weekend at The Lensbury. We have a 4 year old and it was very child friendly. Soft play, pool, playground and river walks meant plenty to entertain him and they were very easy going with the interests and curious out of young kids! Rooms just ok, not stunning but clean and cosy enough with good showers. Lovely grounds and excellent breakfast and dinner.

The hotel is very nice and the leisure facilities are great. Stunning views and gardens. If you are into sport, then this is an excellent hotel. Location is great and breakfast was amazing. Evening food was also a good standard and staff are very helpful. I hope to stay again in the summer, as there are plenty of good walks close by.

At a work conference which was well catered for. The breakfasts were good, as were the lunches. Lots of healthy options as well as the usual cooked breakfasts. Coffee and tea always available. Lovely location by the river. Used the pool a couple of times which is functional rather than aesthetic. There are lovely walks from the door along the river and also a small street of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is bland but fine. The grounds are also quite bland ... more for sport than pleasure.
