Tattu's private dining spaces can accommodate parties of up to 16 guests. And for those looking to host a larger event, Tattu's main restaurant can seat up to 150 guests for a seated dinner or 200 for a drinks and canapé reception. Yin is the dark and introspective counterpart to the bright and outgoing Yang. It is linked with femininity, shadows, and water. At Tattu Birmingham, the main restaurant downstairs embodies the Yin element with its feminine finishes and intricate details. Salvaged cherry trees are brought back to life by hand to create a canopy of blossom throughout the space, while traditional wooden fretwork and carefully styled lighting cast shadows and create the effect of waterfalls down the granite walls.

Cancellation policy
We kindly ask that any cancellation to your reservation be made no less than 24 hours prior so that we can manage our services. For no-shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to a charge of £20 per person that will be applied to the credit card on file.
Other rules
Our tables are for a full dining experience only, bookings for desserts and drinks are not considered. We offer the following duration for dining reservations: Tables of 1 pax: 1.30 hours, Tables of 2 pax: 1.45 hours, Tables of 3 & 4 pax: 2 hours, Tables of 5 - 6: 2.30 hours and tables of 7-8: 2.45 hours from your booking time. We have a 15-minute grace period for all reservations from their booking time. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, the restaurant reserves the right to release your reservation. Please also note, if reservation numbers decrease dramatically with no prior notice given to the restaurant, the team reserves the right to obtain a £20 per person deposit in relation to our no-show fee. Please note our restaurants are currently operating a NO-CASH POLICY. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please refrain from visiting our restaurants until it is safe for you and your guests to do so. Please arrive at our restaurant in accordance with your booking time and please kindly wait until our reception is free from guests before entering. Please be aware that if you have pre-ordered drinks, these will arrive at your table once you have been seated. We will try to accommodate any table requests, but we are unable to guarantee a specific area of the restaurant. Allergens - Please notify us of any guests with dietary requirements/ allergies. Detailed information on the 14 legal allergens is available on request. We do not record information on any other allergens. Regrettably, we do not allow guests to bring cakes or other food into the venue due to this policy. Please note Tattu cannot guarantee our dishes are 100% free from traces. Dress code Policy - we operate a 'Smart Casual' dress code, no sportswear, loungewear, shorts or fancy dress, please. Please note - No decorations or balloons are allowed in the venue.

January 2024Fantastic place!! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, very cozy and elegant. From the moment we sat down we have been greeted by the most friendly waiter Mo, who has very kindly shown us through the menu explanation all we have to know as it was our first time dining at Tattu. Mo has given us the best service, making us laugh and enjoy his presence :) We will 100% return and recommend this place to all friend and family. Also the food tastes as amazing as it looks, very rich in flavour. I am looking forward coming again very soon! Drinks were aesthetically pleasing, taking a big part in the whole experience! Thank you Mo for the most memorable night :)

February 2024We attended Tattu for the first time for a 21st birthday meal. The food was delicious with great presentation and the atmosphere was comfortable and elegant. The menu can be confusing to understand but our waitress Charlie was excellent and explained it all to us and gave recommendations, she was attentive at all times and added to the great experience.

March 2024The atmosphere and the service was amazing. The food was delicious. Many vegetarian and tasty options. Portions of main dishes are small though, I recommend getting a side. I got the mock chicken and noodles as a side. Cocktails were good too.

February 2024First time eating at a Birmingham Restaurant for my birthday and Tattu did not disappoint!!! We were welcomed at the reception by a Front Of House who made use feel comfortable and led us to our table for the night. The aesthetic atmosphere was unreal, the flowers, the decoration and lights made it have ambience and settling mood. We visited on a Sunday, the vibe was great. The food was mouth watering, it was an exquisite fine dining not the cheapest worth every penny. The seats were luxury and very comfortable! Adriana which was our waitress was really friendly, polite and patient. She explained the contents of each food and drink that we ordered, and even made some recommendations on what to order. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to order and overall I will be returning whenever I'm in Birmingham!
