We had a brilliant night for a works Christmas party. (80's and 90's). The food was lovely, and piping hot. Staff attentive , atmosphere was great. We had a brilliant night and the dance floor was packed. Would definitely recommend here and would come back again. Thanks.

Rooms are adequate, needs updating, a small fridge would be a great addition, and a small sofa. Great to have a bath available. Overall an excellent Inn, and Adhi really made everyone feel extremely welcome! Apart from one part-time team member of staff who was absolutely rude, unprofessional and arrogant, and even Adhi tried to apologize on his behalf. A complete let down for a team that works so well together, for one individual to destroy that. We couldnt stay for breakfast in the morning so they offered takeaway sandwiches which was so lovely! A really nice surprise. Dinner was good, and they even have a doggie menu!! Some rooms face the carpark so if there is availability do ask for a lakeview room. Beautiful location, fair price and excellent views of the lake! . Overall better and personal service, better than the bigger chains. Definitely highly recommended.

The rooms are very dated , but are large and the beds are fairly good. The lake was v nice and lots of relaxing bird life around. The food was less than wetherspoons quality at a much higher price which is a shame because for a value hotel this is not at all bad. If it's cheaper than the local premier inn it's worth a look but maybe eat somewhere else.

Attended Christmas event, great night, staff efficient & friendly. Hotel looks bit dated, lovely large rooms but could do with modernising, sound proofing not great. If you get a lake view room.be aware that each room has table & chairs outside (long shared patio with all rooms) which is lovely until other rooms loufly drinking outside untik 3am, get a room upstairs for quiet 🤫

The food was very good. Venue looks much better now it’s been updated. Can’t say the same for the George Michael tribute act last night. Why did he sing every song so slowly. Bit of a bore fest really. The best music arrived after 12am when lots of people had left!
