The River Centre boasts a breathtaking entrance Foyer. With its floor-to-ceiling glass-fronted entrance and magnificent circling grand staircase, it provides an abundance of natural daylight for daytime events and creates a captivating atmosphere in the evenings.

The River Centre offers unparalleled flexibility. Our ground floor spaces are modular, allowing you to easily combine or divide them to create the perfect layout that suits your needs. Our Breakout Spaces can accommodate up to 100 people, providing endless possibilities for unstructured meetings and collaborative sessions. Additionally, all our spaces are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi for your convenience.

Getting to the venue is convenient, whether you prefer driving or using public transportation. We are located just 45 minutes away from London by train, with the local Tonbridge train station only a 10-minute walk from the venue. There are also several nearby car parks available.

The Main Auditorium is the largest of our eight hire spaces at the River Centre. At 504sqm, it can hold up to 500 people (theatre style) and can be flexibly configured for a variety of layouts (cabaret, classroom, boardroom, and theatre). With brilliant lighting and fantastic audio acoustics, the Main Auditorium is ideally placed to ensure you get the most out of running a larger meeting or conference.

Our Media Centre, also situated on the first floor, is always on-hand to provide all the essential business and technical services you might need, including AV technical assistance, audio recording, and printing. All our spaces are available on a Day Delegate Rate, and we can also build customised packages to cater to your specific needs. Please get in touch to speak with our team – we are here to help!

Tranquil and beautiful surroundings. Walking along the river early in the morning was really nice. I totally enjoyed the crisp clean air. it was lovely watching the sunrise by the riverbank.

It over looks the river, hence the name 'The River Centre'. A very well designed building with a useful layout and facilities and a good atmosphere. It seems it is currently privately owned and occupied by a welcoming church family that are attempting to do great things for the surrounding and wider community. It seems there is always an open door during services for those seeking a Christian faith or just curious. Services apparently take place on Sunday mornings and Saturday evenings under normal running and that anyone is welcome. There is no general parking available but there are lots of car parks nearby and is easy walking distance from the high street where a host of bus services stop. Tonbridge train station is approximately a 10 min walk. There is a family room available for those parents nursing and entertaining very young children during services, where the main auditorium is normally streamed real-time onto a screen with audio. There are also special church services for children and events for youth at certain times. The services are uplifting and lively with a contemporary edge, and coffee etc and socialising normally takes place between services.
