About Venue
A neighborhood staple for over a decade, Baci & Abbracci has been a cherished dining spot in Williamsburg since opening in 2006. Founded by the Cappiello brothers, Paolo and Mimmo, along with partner Rocco Cadolini, the restaurant emphasizes authenticity by sourcing fresh ingredients and making everything in-house, including pasta and mozzarella. Rosa, their mother, also contributes her Sorrentinian specialties, enriching the menu with family tradition.
Recognized by Eat Out NY as the "Best New Pizza Joint" in 2007 and recommended by the Michelin Guide, Baci & Abbracci features wood-fired pizzas baked in an imported Naples oven, along with antipasti, homemade pasta, and Italian entrees at accessible prices. The wine list highlights selections from around the world, with a focus on Italian varieties. Its sleek decor and scenic backyard make it an ideal spot for authentic Italian dining and special occasions.
Our spacious garden is open and airy in spring and summer, and enclosed and heated in winter. We can customize a party menu and allow you to decorate for your special day. The venue is ideal for weddings, holidays, cocktail parties, and networking events, with catering options including passed hors d’oeuvres, buffets, and sit-down meals.

Went for the first time yesterday and it was a very nice experience. Food was great and you get a big portion for the price you pay. The service was excellent and fast. Would recommend this place!

We had a reservation and were seated and served promptly. Bread and water were brought to the table straight away. The bread was so good we finished the bowl, and the staff quickly offered more — which we happily accepted. We ordered the Amore Amaro and Pornstar Martini cocktails, both of which were excellent. For food, we had the Mezzemaniche al Ragù di Vitello (Mezzemaniche with Veal Ragù) and the Mafalde al Tartufo (Mafalde with Truffle). Both dishes were cooked perfectly; the veal, in particular, was outstanding. Service throughout was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend visiting. 100% worth every penny.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. While the atmosphere was charming and cozy, there were several areas for improvement. Our starter arrived completely cold, and when we inquired if this was typical, the staff assured us it was not and promptly replaced it. However, the quality of the food still did not justify the price we paid. Additionally, I noticed that the tablecloths were not properly ironed, which detracted from the overall presentation. On a positive note, the service was excellent; the staff, particularly the manager, were knowledgeable and attentive. It's a pity that some of these details overshadowed what could have been a wonderful dining experience. With some adjustments, this restaurant has the potential to be truly exceptional.

The restaurant presents a high-end image. Overall, the experience was okay, though not exceptional. Fortunately, it wasn’t too crowded, as the tables are quite close together. The pizza was good, and the service was decent. While we appreciate the staff's attentiveness and proactive approach, having constant interruptions before, during, and after the meal—especially on a planned date night—became somewhat intrusive.
