Lyon Brave x Comedy In Harlem Lyon Brave and Comedy In Harlem proudly endorse each other — a mutual love rooted in respect, growth, and artistic fire. As Lyon Brave expands into music performances, Comedy In Harlem’s logo sits proudly on her guitar — because this is her home base, her launchpad, her artistic family. Every NYC venue — and anyone else — looking for a space on her guitar will now have to pay rent. Comedy In Harlem earned their spot by supporting her when others were just watching. This is the space where Lyon found her voice, and now the whole city is lucky to borrow that voice while they still can. Soon, Comedy In Harlem may be the only club with exclusive access to the Lyon Brave experience — and by then, there will be a fee just to borrow her

I am currently at the Mad Comedy event here and it definitely has all the vibes! Drinks are nice (heavy pours, but tasty), the food is bomb (I had the Salmon with Cabbage and Mac & cheese 😍). And the comedians OMG… funny is definitely an understatement. Will definitely come back each and every time I’m in NYC! Great job Nicky Sunshine and Jamie Roberts!!

I’ve been to Comedy in Harlem a few times now, and honestly, it deserves way more recognition than it gets. This place is a true gem and a staple in its community — a space where real talent shines. Tonight was no exception. It was an absolute pleasure to see Mark Viera hit the stage. He’s hilarious, wildly talented, and it was beautiful to see him return to his city to perform. Let’s not sleep on venues like this. They bring culture, laughter, and connection — and they deserve our full support.

6-8-25 .. Alot happened today lol. We celebrated my 35th birthday. I wanted to go somewhere fun & somewhere my mother & I could enjoy. Im disabled & to have fun seems like it always requires alot of walking or straining of you're legs or whatever. My mommy is getting older so I wanted something she has never done before & wouldn't cause her pain. Im glad we did this because it was a first for all of us. My sister picked this place. I want a place with black entertainment & a cool low key place & this seemed to be it. My first expression of the place?.. well my sister is 26 & she's always late to everything (and she is the one who picked the place & time🙄).. I had waited for her outside, when the owner 'Mariah Davis' came out to just simply ask me if I was okay... shocking because we don't get that hospitality in nyc to often. I waited to my sister, bro-in-law & mom to arrive before I went in. The place was cool. Not to hot, not to cold. Seatings was okay. THE MUSIC CHOICES WAS PHENOMENAL!.. It was a mixer of old school & some new.. something to get you off your feet & dance. The jokes I found some funny more then others but as for my mom who is older found nearly all the jokes funny. I feel as if it would be better to get a mixer of ages of comedians but this is giving me more of an older generational vibe. Don't get that wrong because if you come here you're going to laugh and like it. This was my first time ever coming here so it maybe different each time. Only thing I think may have upset me was my guacamole dip& chips took so long to come out (forget making it from scratch they grew from seed) but it was on point.. my catfish, mac-n-cheese, cabbage came out before it sadly & i wanted my appetizer first. The mac-n-cheese was okay (& you know we don't eat everyones). Loved tha cabbage but the catfish wasn't fried hard enough, it was a bit soft but still good nonetheless. The place is clean, from the outside to the inside bathroom. I enjoyed myself & so did my mom & that's all that matters. She said she will definitely be back. -Lisa Family ❤️

The overall experience at Comedy in Harlem was just okay. The food was decent but nothing special, and the comedians were hit or miss. One major issue was the gratuity—it's automatically included, but they didn’t explain it well, so I ended up tipping twice. Be sure to check your bill carefully to avoid overpaying. It’s an alright spot for a night out, but there are definitely better comedy venues in the city.
