Visited for a second date, and it was worth the 4 hour train ride. The shrimp rigatoni was divine as was the turmeric latte I enjoyed after dinner. Has such a cute, quaint, ambient vibe and the musical playlist was 🤌🏾 definitely need the Spotify link. Honestly my biggest qualm was the journey to the restroom, but they do have good signage look for the red door 🚪 Just keep walking down the stairs and through the valley until you see it. Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would come back to enjoy more on the menu. I certainly cleaned my plate.

We didn’t have high expectation before walking into the palace as most items on the menu were just typical brunch items. Turned out we were very impressed with the quality and taste. We got the Truffle Parmesan Fries, Beef Sliders, Chili Brussels Sprouts, Mushroom Polenta Croquettes, Spicy Shrimp Vodka Rigatoni, Market Fish w/ Roasted Mushroom. Everything was amazingly delicious! Will definitely come back soon to try other stuff.

A Lovely Spot for a Delicious Meal and Aesthetic Vibes! This restaurant is a gem! The service was fast and friendly, and everything was spotless—with chic, modern décor that makes the whole space feel welcoming and stylish. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Beautifully presented (perfect for your foodie photos!), and the flavors were a solid 10/10. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. If you’ve got a sweet tooth like me, don’t miss the cheesecake-stuffed strawberry waffles—pure heaven on a plate! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Whether you’re just grabbing brunch or creating content, this place offers great lighting, Instagram-worthy plates, and an overall great vibe. Highly recommend!

5 stars - Incredible food, thoughtful service, and stylish vibe. Perfect for dinner with friends or a chill date night. Service: The customer service at Hole In The Wall was exceptional. Our server, Anthony, was incredibly sweet and made the experience feel personal and fun. He gave us honest recommendations -- what he liked, what he didn't -- and explained why, which helped us order confidently. We had a dinner reservation but were about 30 minutes late (getting ready took longer than expected), and the staff was so kind and flexible. They just told us to come when we could -- that kind of grace is rare and appreciated. Food: Everything we tried was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I ordered the Hanger Steak ($32), and it was cooked beautifully -- flavorful, not greasy, and surprisingly light. I left feeling satisfied but not overly full or bloated. My friends ordered: * The OG Burger ($21) with sweet potato fries - I tried a bite and it was seriously flavorful. One of the better burgers I've tasted in a while. * Spicy Shrimp Rigatoni Pasta ($22) - This one tasted like heaven. The shrimp was perfectly crispy, the pasta cooked just right, and the creamy sauce tied it all together. I also asked if they could make matcha, even though it was only listed on the brunch menu -- and they did! That extra bit of flexibility and accommodation really impressed me. Ambience & Dress Code: The restaurant is stylish and cute without being overly formal. It's definitely a place where you'd want to dress "casual cute." Denim or elevated basics work well -- I'd personally avoid sweats or anything too ripped. It's a great spot for dinner with friends, but it's also date- and family-friendly. Final Thoughts: This is a true 5-star spot for me. Between the excellent food, flexible staff, and cozy-chic atmosphere, I'd 100% return. Whether you're visiting NYC or just want a memorable dinner out, Hole in the Wall- Flatiron is a solid choice.

Visited on memorial day. Had A great time catching up with my girl. The food, cortado coffee and mimosas were all superb. The waitress was nice, however too busy and they were understaffed, everything took forever to come out, even the coffee, 20-25 minutes. I don't know if I'll go back to be honest. It was an okay place and experience.
