Tucked inside Madame X, The Marilyn Seating Area is a plush, red-lit lounge space with serious personality. Draped in velvet and inspired by vintage bordello vibes, it’s ideal for birthdays, bachelorettes, book launches or any cheeky celebration with friends.

This semi-private nook comes with comfy couches, cocktail tables, and is just a few steps from the bar and the year-round heated garden. With no bar minimums and flexible rental terms, it’s an affordable yet atmospheric space for an unforgettable night out.

- Capacity: 40 standing / 20 seated
- Hourly rental: $50/hour (4-hour minimum)
- One-time $100 refundable cleaning fee
- Outside catering welcome (no icing!)
- Alcohol licence until 4:00 am (no BYO)
- 21+ only with valid government-issued photo ID

We hosted a joint birthday party at Madame X in the upstairs lounge and had a fantastic time! The space has an incredible atmosphere and great lighting for a dance party. And Alex, Em and Amy were so personal and accommodating! The entire staff went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect time. We really couldn’t be happier. ❤️

I hosted my birthday at Madame X and it was truly one of the most unforgettable nights of my life! From start to finish, the team made everything incredibly easy and seamless — they went above and beyond to help me curate the most fun, unique experience for me and my friends. They arranged a magician, a tarot card reader, and an incredible burlesque dancer, all of whom were amazing and added so much magic and energy to the night. The space itself is sexy, moody, and vibey in the best way — with that deep red velvet, vintage charm, and a hint of mystery that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. All of my guests were raving about how special and different the night felt. Whether you’re planning a party, or a private event Madame X is it. Truly can’t thank them enough!

I had an event here on June 7th, 2025 and honestly, from event planning to event completion, Alex and Em (the managers of the bar) were absolutely phenomenal. They were so helpful in the planning process and threw me such a beautiful event. People were still talking about it the next day. And Em did such an amazing job with the cocktails and both Alex and Em helped staff the event. Everything was so reasonably priced and I highly recommend throwing an event here.

I had my girlfriend’s birthday party here and it could not have been a more perfect place. coordinating with Alex was super easy. Pricing for the event was also very reasonable! The energy is always great here, all the staff is AMAZING. Will definitely be back!

My best friend is getting married this month, and we needed a space for our pre-wedding bridal shower. i stumbled upon MadameX on peerspace- and I'm so happy I did! It had the perfect ambiance and we all had the absolute best time at our Harry Potter Themed Bachelorette! The Bride was absolutely blown away by the space, as were all of our invitees. Alex made booking so seamless, and even connected me with amazing caterers and answered all of my annoying questions leading up to the big day. She was so helpful, so amazing, and made planning this party so stress-free. She even came up to check on us during the event to make sure we were having fun, and was so helpful with working with us for set-up/tear down and for any unique needs we had. I love the vibe of the place, and I love that it's owned by fierce and amazing women! The bartender for our event was also a dream, I asked her to make sure the Bride had a drink in her hand the entire time and she accepted the mission, and was a whole vibe- dancing and giving great energy at the bar. The drinks were nice and strong, too. All of the guests loved her and everyone had so much fun in the space. We had a huge age variety too, invited quite a few co-workers and some of the Bride's family, so our attendees were a mixture of ages 21-75 lol and there was a place to relax and quietly enjoy snacks and cocktails for our older crew, plus a dance floor for the more rambunctious in the group. Perfect space for a big diverse group of people for sure. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone, it's even more stunning in-person than the pics- and Alex and the rest of the team are absolutely phenomenal. Worth every penny spent, and def want to come back and support them on their regular party nights! :-)
