Went here during Christmas for their Tipsy Winter Wonderland experience for $49pp and it was def worth it for bottomless brunch! Service was super quick and attentive, they kept bringing out drinks after drinks once you finish them. The sugar cookie waffles were mediocre (they were cute tho) but the burger was good (tender meat and love the blue cheese). We tried all the drinks on their menu, they didn’t cheap out on alcohol at all! All the drinks are strong yet tasty, my personal favs are the white Christmas margarita (tequila, coconut cream, triple sec and lime juice) and jingle juice. Place is cutely decorated, super cozy and intimate!

Great options for prix fixe lunch starting $30, grilled calamari and seafood orzo with red sauce were amazing! Everyone loved the meals and Greek Napoleon dessert, not crowded even in holiday decorated atmosphere. Food does take some time to arrive so plan at least 2 hours here for lunch.

I really want to say this place has one of the best fish Branzino that i’ve ate before. This is a must go place to eat in NY. The place is so modern and beautiful and young. Worthy for the food.

My friend made reservations at 2pm on a Saturday. See had a voucher from Pulsd which gave us a good deal on the bottomless champagne brunch. Bottomless champagne and two entrees with the voucher was under $25 for the both of us. I arrived a little earlier so opted to stop in the restroom then sit at the bar. When I sat at the bar, I realized that I had left my phone in the restroom. The bartender was gracious enough to offer to call my phone to help me locate it. Thankfully I found it right away. My friend arrived and so I moved from the bar to the dining seating. Our order was promptly taken. We chose the Strawberry Fume and Lavender champagne. The Lavender champagne was sweet and delicious. For our entrees, we ordered the omelette your way. I opted for spinach, bacon, and mozzarella, my friend ordered crab and mozzarella. The omelette came with potatoes and a side salad. We both enjoyed our omelettes. At 2pm in the afternoon, there were only 3 tables of diners including our table yet the bottomless champagne was not truly bottomless. It took some effort to get our waitress’s attention after our first serving. Once we finally did get her attention, she did check in more frequently. We only had 3 glasses during our 90 minute bottomless brunch. We could have had more if the waitress was initially more attentive. It didn’t truly feel like a bottomless brunch experience. Since the restaurant was still not to busy, we were left to sit, chat, and exchange gifts well after the 90 minute time slot which was nice. They even gave us a Sunflower each as we left. The hospitality was very much appreciated and we had a great time. I would definitely come back and give it another try.

My friend and I made reservations to go to Selene at 5:30 on a Tuesday. There appear to be two entrances, so if you are meeting someone, specify which street you are waiting on. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and classy. 5:30 is still pretty early for dinner, and when we went they were out of a lot of things, especially seafood. It may have been the particular day we went, but it was odd. I also do not have the prices of our dishes because my friend covered the check, and I forgot to take a picture of the receipt. I do remember it being overpriced, but given the location it is not at all surprising. My friend got the lasagna, and I got the salmon. My friend enjoyed the lasagna. It was nothing special, but it did have good flavors. For me, the salmon was cooked well in terms of moisture, but it had zero flavor. The vegetables had flavor, but if you can tell from the picture, they were very charred. Finally, we decided to splurge on a dessert, and the apple dessert pictured below was the only thing they had in stock that evening. We actually did not finish eating it because it had a really odd taste. To me, it tasted like the top of a crème brulée that was extremely burnt. My friend said it tasted like something went bad. Overall, food was pretty average, and did not live up to the price point. However, service here was fantastic. Our server was extremely friendly and hospitable, and our waters were constantly refilled and there were multiple checkpoints. I think there are better places in the area for a similar price point.
