Malones Edinburgh is an award-winning Irish bar, sports bar and live music venue in the West End of Edinburgh. We’re well known in the city for our electric atmosphere, plus Edinburgh’s only Tennant’s Tank Lager and the best pint of Guinness around! We have 2 bars, 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs. Our large upstairs space doubles as a multi-purpose function room. Highlights of the events space include the stage and sound system, multiple Ultra HD screens, projectors and capacity of up to 300.

We have a dedicated operations team who will work with you to ensure that events with us run smoothly and exceed expectations. Primely located in Edinburgh’s gorgeous West End, Malones is just a short walk from Haymarket Station. Therefore, many commuters to the city enjoy Malones as a convenient spot for mid-week and after-work drinks, as well as team building events throughout the week.

Our drinks menus are constantly updated to showcase the best draught beers, wines and spirits, both local and from afar. Our extensive whiskey menu offers over 250 whiskies from Scotland, Ireland and around the world. On 4 evenings a week we host live music nights, and work with some incredible local bands, solo acts and duos. We can arrange live music on request for any events organised in our function room.

Our spacious upstairs function room contains a bar, a large stage with sound system and 2 72" Ultra HD TVs. There are a range of seating options available including booths and bar style stools and tables as well as standing room. The space can be flooded with natural light, or blackout blinds can be drawn to create an intimate ambiance with our bespoke chandeliers. The space is ideal for celebrating birthdays, wedding receptions, anniversaries, hen nights, stag dos, wakes etc.

It is also kitted out for presentations with 2 projectors and pull up screens, making it a quirky venue for your next meeting, training day or product launch. Given our city centre location, the space is also used for team building events throughout the week. The fully stocked bar includes Edinburgh's only Tank Tennent's Lager plus high-quality draught beers, wines and spirits.
