London's ‘best new spot for culture’ according to Time Out, Woolwich Works opened in 2021 and is the perfect marriage of heritage and modern design.

Both historic and contemporary, grand and intimate: Woolwich Works boasts a series of newly restored, Grade II and II* listed buildings. The spaces retain many of their beautiful historic features but being a brand new restoration, they are also equipped with sleek modern touches and every state-of-the-art technical necessity.

With stunning views over the river, a bright, airy atmosphere throughout, and the ability to combine indoor and outdoor space, our flexible spaces are perfect for conferences, product launches, immersive experiences, away days, meetings, wedding receptions, parties and much more.

A riverside room for celebrations. Ideal for meetings, conferences, dinners and events, this beautiful riverside room on the first floor tells its own stories through the many textures of its exposed brick walls, naked timber ceiling and restored original sash windows overlooking the Thames. These features are complemented by polished modern finishes, including a beautiful new timber floor and a flexible track and spot lighting system.

Beanfeast can be accessed via lift or stairs and also benefits from a private external entrance on the riverfront for guests arriving by boat. It's easily reached from the Knight Gallery - a similar space on the floor below - and from Stonecutters Studio, making it perfect for multi-room conferences and events.

Beanfeast takes its unusual name from a national holiday proclaimed by King George during his 1773 visit to the site.

Great for kids but also gives adults that feeling of nostalgia. Even better than it's free too. It's very light, airy and clean now thanks to the 13m renovation project.

Woolwich print fair is a huge exhibition of top quality work that stretches the idea of a print to include some fascinating techinques. The curated hangs a far and away much more interesting than the offers from the galleries and represent some of the most exciting up and coming artists

Woolwich Works provided an excellent venue for the ESOL network event. The facilities were well-equipped, the staff was accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was conducive to productive networking and collaboration. The venue's spacious layout and modern amenities enhanced the experience, making it a standout choice for such events. Highly recommended for future gatherings.

Excellent venue and loved the seating arrangements which were a mix of tiered seating and small speakeasy style tables. The bar had a good range of drinks and a few bar snacks. I did notice a bit of rubbish about the place from the previous evening, which they could have cleared, but that’s being me being a bit fussy. Event staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Such a lovely community space. Highly recommend to book a Sunday charity tour - it’s a great way to learn more about building’s history, get to know the volunteers and see all of the rooms
