    Having read some of the reviews beforehand, I was a bit worried about our stay beforehand, but I can honestly say it was great. We stayed as part of the Legoland short breaks package. We checked in at 5, the cookies on arrival were a nice touch and very tasty. The room was clean and spacious. We ate at the restaurant that evening and the food was very good. One slight criticism would be that when we booked, they advertised that under 6s eat free, however that is only if they have the buffet on apparently. But the kids meal options were great and the service was quick. We used the swimming pool with the kids before 7pm, and it was empty which was great. The jacuzzi wasn't working but we couldn't have gone in it with the kids anyway. We've stayed at 2 another hotels close by before, but we all agreed that this one was the best. Would recommend and would stay there again. Wish we had more time to explore the grounds, as they looked lovely. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly, I cannot fault them.

    Very nice hotel and very quiet, very easy to get to. The room was comfortable but maybe getting old. Fans in room as aircon did not work and tap in bathroom stuck. The shower was good. Disappointed that my diamond status was not acknowledged and no free cookie! Over all a good hotel and comfortable bed.

    This hotel captures the feel of English country hotels while maintaining the Hilton standards. The only drawback is that the hotel is quite large and expect a fair walk to your room. Rooms are quiet and clean. The entrance area just in front of the main entrance is made of a large circle of small stones charming but not conducive to roll luggage.

    We stayed at this hotel with friends on Monday 24 June for two nights. Rooms 282 & 283. Worst hotel experience ever. Neither room had air con working, drinks cooler not working & we couldn't turn the hot tap on in the basin in room 282. The temperature in the room was at least 30 degrees. The beds were definitely not queen size, double at best. We complained & after much debate were moved to rooms 140 & 150 which at least were cool, but still double beds, not queen. The pool was also out of order for our entire stay, during the hottest day of the year. I asked to speak to a duty manager twice, but they were not available. On my return home I rang again & am still waiting for a call back which is totally unacceptable. We booked 4 evening meals with wine, but only received one bottle of wine; should have been two! After room service on day two we had only one bath towel for two people & no toilet rolls, our friends room was the same. We finally collected the missing items from Mohammed in the restaurant. He was excellent. The items had been requested at 17.00! The only good things about the hotel was the location & Mohammed in the restaurant. We have given the hotel plenty of time to respond, but as no one is willing to speak to us, have posted a terrible review instead. Will definitely not be visiting again & would not recommend! Next day, the poor American at reception was complaining as he had been put in room 282. I expect he is still waiting for a call back too?!
