I am writing this review as a legal professional having visited the Great Danes Hotel on a number of occasions to attend the Nightingale Court (basically an extra crown court set up to try to deal with the backlog in criminal cases). The hotel itself is set in very pleasant grounds with lots of free parking. Inside it’s a good standard of hotel and the staff are very pleasant. The location is best placed perhaps for an overnight stop en route to the Kent ports or travelling the other way or as a centrally located place to explore Leeds Castle and other Kent attractions. It is likely to appeal to business customers too. Just bear in mind that if you are going to stay at present there is (as mentioned above) the Nightingale Court is taking up a chunk of the facilities.GOOGLE REVIEW

Went for a Wedding Fayre which was good and then decided to have a drink before leaving so went to The Brasserie Restaurant and Bar. The poor young lad seemed completely out of his depth as if he'd only just started. It wasn't busy which was good because he wouldn't have coped on his own. He took about 10 minutes serving me and I only ordered 2 gins and 1 Jack Daniels. He did his best but needs to get to know his drinks especially wines as he asked me what a White Zinfandel was, not even knowing it was a wine. I'm not putting him down, just in case that's what readers think. I just think he should have had help.GOOGLE REVIEW

We have been coming to this hotel for many years under three different owners and have always been pleased with our treatment here. Our one slight disappointment this time was the spa area, the gym has been reduced in size, the pool area is in a poor state of decoration and repair. A friendly staff made our stay happier.GOOGLE REVIEW

From the outside on the main road, this place looks like a five star hotel. That’s where it ends, driving up to the building, it would appear the architect was inspired by London tower blocks, inside is extremely dated, the carpets and cupboards look like a 70’s council house. The room was clean but so old fashioned. In need of a serious makeover. The breakfast wasn’t too bad and was probably the best thing about the stay, other than leaving.GOOGLE REVIEW

Me and my daughter stayed here and had the best time! The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. We used the pool several times during our stay. Was very relaxingGOOGLE REVIEW
