If you plan to visit London you should start your journey from this Museum. It's will help you to understand history and culture of Londoners. An amazing and a very eclectic exhibition. Just enough information to spend around 2 hours and do not to start to be bored. 👏👏👏

Museum has some good and some kinda boring exhibits. However this is personal choice. For me, not being a Londoner it wasn't all for me. However was very informative. I preferred the later part where there was more fun things there. I did feel the guy explaining they were a charity at the beginning a bit much. We and I'm sure most people understand that these places are relying on funding and donations. However we would prefer to donate in peace without feeling forced. After all the tickets were free, it's the least we can do is spare money for them. As I'm sure most will feel the same.

Enlarged from my previous visit in the late 1970s. Covers the history of London from before human habitation to the present. Exciting plans for future development. Very interesting artifacts from all periods. Could perhaps benefit from more interactive displays to engage younger visitors.

Is a great museum with a different content. Thought for families and children it takes you in a thorough trip of London's history. The Roman area is amazing with recreations of the inside of homes and shops. From there to Victorian London with its shops and alleys is a really enjoyable place to go. And as many museums in London is completely free.

We had a great day out here. So close to the tube station. Interesting displays and hands on stuff for kids. Mine aged 7, 11, 13 and 15 all enjoyed it. Excellent for FREE! Covid safe, plenty of space and hand gel, very clean loos. Staff very friendly and helpful too.
