Went for early evening meal over Bank Holiday weekend. Many places would struggle with volume of customers - not here. The front of house team were on it 100%. Irene our waiter and all the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. We dined outside. The views were great and the food was enjoyable. It was the excellent service that made this a meal to remember.

Whilst the setting is stunning sadly that's as good as it gets. My starter was prawns that was a 4/10 at best very cold (it was a cold dish but that doesn't mean it should taste like it was made hours before and whipped out of the fridge). We had the lamb to share between my wife and I for the main course. The lamb was actually lovely but the potatoes looked and tasted like they'd been under a hotplate for hours, soggy and shriveled up. We complained and whilst the apologizes were genuine, they never offered to change them. In stead I was offered a free drink. This was a shared dish so at least offer my wife a drink too! For sweet I had the chocolate brownie. It was extremely dry and over cooked. Someone needs to tell the chef that brownies should gooey in the middle. Definitely not somewhere I'd recommend and fairly sure we wouldn't return. Shame really because the last time we went it was outstanding.

Good location. Waiting staff are probably a little over attentive. No fruit ciders on the menu which is a big fail. Not sure what they're trying to achieve with the chicken wings...sometimes simple is best.

Been there for afternoon tea. Service was excellent, food and tea really good quality. We were both really full by the end! It is expensive though so be aware of that. The restaurant was sparkling clean at all times and really good looking. The windows and views are just so relaxing and beautiful. I'd come back on a special occasion.

Been here a few times over the years, so nice to be on the embankment and at the Globe too. Great for the pre show drinks and great food (not too much, the Bard is not known for short plays!). Staff have always been lovely and I think we have been always lucky at getting a table as it does fill up quite quick. Prices are London prices. A good feel to a place that is new but in sympathy with it position to history. Lovely place - don't go, so we can still have a table please!
