I’m not a fan of post modernism. It captures no beauty, no warmth, no inspiration and definitely nothing interesting. They had other paid exhibitions but the free ones were so odd and uninspiring I couldn’t see forking over good money. The most interesting things about this about this was the gift shop.

The Gallery was very empty and was exceptionally interesting. The Gallery was relatively cheap and not too small. It was also not too big, compared to the British National Museum which is way to big for one day.

Just experienced the BURTYNSKY show at Saatchi gallery and it is sublime. The first part focuses on the rawness of Nature while the second part of his work is (over)industrialisation. The two part clash and come together in the video room which made me feel overwhelmed in a nice and weird way. I’ve done a couple of exhibitions and this one comes high in my ranking.

A friend treated me to the Burtynsky exhibition which was frightening and inspiring in equal measures. I want to go back to yhe Sastchi Gallery to explore its permanent exhibitions. The building is lovely

Wonderful gallery, there were 4 free exhibits one of which was working dogs which was just lovely and the other 3 were very moving and profound. There is a very varied gallery gift shop with lots of trinkets and books and T-shirts, very reasonably priced. A great day out in Chelsea after with lots of lovely coffee and cake shops 😊
