One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! What puts it over the top ... the service!!! The concierge helped us with tough to get reservations, our room was kept super tidy and clean and every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The bartenders at the Scotch Bar are informed, encouraging and fun to talk to. The place to stay in Edinburgh and we will be back!

Well what can we say about the Balmoral .... a stunning building with an amazing history. A classical design with a truly amazing backdrop to Edinburgh's skyline. The staff were amazing and it was a lovely surprise to have had our room upgraded. The junior suite was very spacious and the bathroom was nice. The view from the room overlooked old town which was stunning. We also decided to make a prior booking to the One restaurant at the hotel which added to the fantastic overall experience. We look forward to returning in the future.

What can I say??? Perfect in every way! Nothing too much for staff. Everyone polite & attentive. Room immaculate. Exactly the experience I expected & more.

Stunning What a wedding.. Amazing food and beautiful setting. The staff did an outstanding job. While a posh building to be in i never felt uncomfortable which can be the case when places are trying to go over board. Expensive.. Highly recommend if you can afford it...

Absolutely beautiful building and the restraunt was very sophisticated. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing. Of course it's very expensive but you get what you pay for, my visit was a birthday treat which won't be forgotten in a hurry!!
