For five consecutive Saturdays (9am–3pm), he had the opportunity to learn from the fantastic Chef Gopal, supported by his student assistant Nina. Each week, the students cooked a variety of dishes—two per day—which they enjoyed together and also took home for the family to try. Alongside cooking, they learned essential kitchen skills, including hygiene, organisation, and how to keep a professional kitchen clean and safe. The final Saturday was especially memorable, as families were invited in and treated to a delicious three-course meal cooked by the students themselves. It was such a proud moment. My son not only gained valuable cooking and kitchen skills, but also learned how to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and operate in a real kitchen environment. All of this was offered at an amazingly reduced price, thanks to the Harrison sponsors. I can’t recommend the college or course highly enough
