My recent wine tasting experience at VEENO in Milton Keynes was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations, leaving me eager to return for another visit. Our wine tasting was expertly hosted by Ms. Taylor, who was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly personable. Her passion for wine was evident as she guided us through the “TRIP to Sicily” experience, which featured a curated selection of six wines accompanied by a grand cheeseboard. The wines showcased the diverse flavors and varietals of Sicily, with highlights including the crisp and refreshing Inzolia and Grecanico white wines, the beautifully balanced Syrah rosata, and the rich and complex Cabernet Sauvignon and Nero d’Avola Sicilia red wines. The sweet Tagos wine provided a delightful conclusion to the tasting journey. Accompanying the wines was a generous cheeseboard adorned with an array of delectable accompaniments. From juicy green and red grapes to an assortment of cheeses, crackers, and bruschetta with njduja, each bite perfectly complemented the flavors of the wines. The ambience at VEENO transported me to the heart of Italy, with its warm and inviting atmosphere evoking the essence of Sicilian culture. The attention to detail in the decor, music, and overall ambiance added to the authenticity of the experience, making it truly memorable. Overall, my experience at VEENO was nothing short of spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and left feeling enriched by the knowledge gained and inspired by the flavors experienced. I would highly recommend VEENO to wine enthusiasts and novices alike, but be sure to book in advance as this experience is sure to be in high demand. I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable journey through Italian wine and cuisine.

We had the best evening at Veeno in MK, a friend and I shared 3 dishes. The zucchini was fried with some kind of delicious soft cheese and a honey dip, it was a favour sensation! Absolutely loved it, the meats were lovely and arrancini Devine, I absolutely loved it. The staff were attentive and helped me choose two cocktails that I hadn’t tried before, they even made me an expresso martini bespoke to me as I am not the biggest fan of coffee however really wanted to try it. It’s a great spot for food and pre drinks before heading somewhere more lively or a classy date night.
