About Venue

For over 2000 years, people have been drawn to the naturally thermal waters in Bath, and the Roman Baths & Pump Room are at the social and historic heart of the World Heritage City. You and your guests can expect an unforgettable event, in this award-winning venue that is steeped in history and atmosphere. At this very special location, you'll find different areas that can be used individually, or the entire complex can be exclusively booked for larger gatherings.

Bath’s Historic Venues offer the perfect team social escape in the heart of beautiful Bath. You can also take advantage of our new midweek and late availability offers!

• Easy access from London and beyond (and reduced rail fares)
• Experience drinks and a private tour at the iconic Roman Baths, followed by dinner or a party
• Enjoy a Digital Detox team away day in the Temple of Minerva, nestled in Bath’s Botanical Gardens
• Large and small historic rooms perfect for seminars and social gatherings
• Links with a variety of local hotels just minutes away from our venues
• Activities for a variety of tastes – thermal spas, cycling, boutique shopping, historic attractions, boat trips, walking
• By hiring one of our venues, you are helping to preserve a historic monument and collections for future generations, and support vulnerable children and adults in Bath and North East Somerset

With its spectacular view over the Great Bath, the enclosed Terrace is a more intimate alternative to the Pump Room with an incredible atmosphere. While the space can accommodate up to 80 guests, it is most frequently used for smaller gatherings. The large Reception Hall adjoins the Terrace and the two spaces can be linked for larger groups if a dance floor and bar are needed for the evening.

Well, I knew it before we went there, this is not a Roman bath, it is more like a cistern. Interesting but don't go there thinking that it is a huge place, very small but still interesting. But I'm very thankful to David and Lawrence for accommodating us my husband and I to visit at Kay minute. You have to make a petition by email or by phone a week ahead. Their service was great and I'm very thankful to them.

Beware of the write ups listed under Roman Baths Surrey Steps. The photos and reviews are mixed up with the famous Roman site in Bath, Somerset. The Surrey Steps baths are small and rarely open to the public.
