Well, I knew it before we went there, this is not a Roman bath, it is more like a cistern. Interesting but don't go there thinking that it is a huge place, very small but still interesting. But I'm very thankful to David and Lawrence for accommodating us my husband and I to visit at Kay minute. You have to make a petition by email or by phone a week ahead. Their service was great and I'm very thankful to them.

Beware of the write ups listed under Roman Baths Surrey Steps. The photos and reviews are mixed up with the famous Roman site in Bath, Somerset. The Surrey Steps baths are small and rarely open to the public.

Visited 1may, shut! Rang tel number on opening hours signage , it was the local council. Very helpful but could not locate people to speak, explain reason closed or resolve problem!
