We understand that every wedding is a unique occasion so our dedicated wedding co-ordinator is on hand to help you plan your perfect day. We can offer advice and support through all of your big decisions, helping you to make the most of all that the stylish hotel has to offer.
The hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies with up to 120 guests in two fantastic function suites. Our largest banqueting suite, the Bourne Suite, is beautifully finished and full of natural daylight. The room can cater for up to 120 guests to dine and 200 for the evening festivities. Alternatively, the Brightwell Suite, with its own private patio, is ideal for slightly smaller occasions, seating up to 70 guests for a formal meal and 110 for your reception. Both spaces have their own private bar and dancefloor.
The charming courtyard area provides a fantastic setting for a few relaxed drinks with your guests. The courtyard also offers attractive backdrops for your all-important wedding photos.
With a fantastic selection of packages and menus available, you can put together your perfect day. Our excellent chef is happy to discuss any ideas or requirements you have for your wedding breakfast in order to create the most delicious dishes for you. Any special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.
When the day comes to an end, we have 50 elegant, air-conditioned bedrooms and suites available to accommodate any of your overnight guests.

Our check-in was quick and efficient, and I arrived together with my family for the Reading Festival as well as to visit relatives. The hotel is a very nice place to stay, and I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Reading. The food was amazing. At dinner, we enjoyed a well-priced menu, and the meals were absolutely delicious. My family and I really enjoyed everything. Special thanks to Kirsty, who looked after us very well with both food and drinks, and also to the housekeeping staff for maintaining such a wonderful room. The room was spotless, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast the next morning was also good. Overall, the hospitality of the entire staff was outstanding. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely visit again

We stayed here for 3 nights and my family from America and South Africa were there as well as one of my daughters. We were there for my other daughter’s wedding. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were happy to let us sit all together. We had dinner the first night but the steak took over an hour and my daughter had gone to her room so we requested it to be sent up which did happen eventually. That was the only glitch the staff were so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of the venue. The rooms were clean and well maintained and stocked with shower gel etc. if I’m that way again I’ll definitely consider staying there.

We booked the night before reading festival, last minute and it was still very affordable considering it was quite close for us to get there! We called to ask if we could check in at midnight and they were super accommodating and nice! When we checked in, the man at reception (I didn’t catch his name unfortunately I believe was Muhammad) was hilarious and so helpful. He really made the best first impression! Service for us was a 10/10. Room was clean, nice and cool and bed very comfortable. We will definitely be back, maybe for some food next time as well!😊 A big thank you to the staff they are all lovely and go the extra mile!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at this hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and it had wonderful air conditioning. We were also quite pleased that there were different types of sleeping pillows to choose from, which is always nice, and the room was very clean. We were surprised how quiet the hotel was, considering it is near a road, but we slept like babies. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we especially liked the buffet breakfast. Lots of food choices, including a full traditional English breakfast! The hotel felt very safe and it was well-taken care of. This was a quality, economical hotel, and we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staff! Thank you for the excellent service and support during our stay at Holiday Inn. As an IHG Club member, I truly felt appreciated. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, making our stay very comfortable. Dinner was excellent — the sea bass was especially vibrant, fresh, and delicious. My family was so happy with the food and service. Breakfast was also impressive, with a wide spread to choose from. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we look forward to staying again.
