We stayed for four nights during Royal Ascot week and couldn’t have been happier. Our room while small was comfortable and pristine and the bathroom was roomy. The full breakfast was well done and generous and sitting overlooking the Thames with your morning coffee was wonderful. The entire area around the hotel is historic and charming. The staff was very nice and we would be happy to return.

My wife and I had a wonderful two nights at the Sir Christopher Wren on July 3 to July 5. It is located in a very beautiful location next to the river and conveniently close to the Windsor & Eton train station. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We were especially appreciative of Kyle at reception who assisted us with making sure we were happy with our room choice. His customer service was exceptional. The rooms are of a high standard and very clean. The restaurant and bar staff were also outstanding and made sure we had everything we needed. We thought the food quality and selection was excellent.

Treated my friend for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday. The place was beautiful and we got seated by the window overlooking the river. The staff were very friendly and polite and made us feel so welcomed. The food was beautifully presented and the sandwiches were soft and delicious, we were asked if we liked more but wanted to enjoy the pastries and warm scones that were so tasty and lovingly made. The highlight was the waiters and waitresses coming out with a treat singing happy birthday to my friend, which really touched her and made it so special. Thank you for all the love and care shown. Will be recommending to friends & family.

Lovely location on the river. The room was excellent and in the main building (as opposed to the annexed building across the street). The off-site parking was easy to find from the directions provided and ample spaces available at an additional cost. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially in reception. The food was good and the breakfast selection was excellent. No more than a 10 minute walk to the main castle entrance and/or across the river into Eton. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 1 night, a Birthday gift. Booked the featured room. Soon as we arrived at the entrance a staff member closed the door on us (The manager) Had to wait at the reception as the staff were talking, finally to get out room keys pointed the direction. Arrived to our room, A long walk from the reception with a lot of stairs. Arrived to our room. Our expectations were high for this place reading all the reviews. Then we opened the door to our room. What can I say ? I have been to many budget hotels that have more features than this room did. Windows wouldnt open, Frosted window and other window was overlooking a flat roof with a aircon unit (No views). The Bed a standard double bed. Bathroom small. The the pull out sofa bed had a huge stain in the middle :/. When I went back downstairs to confirm if this was the correct room and not an apartment room I was told yes its the featured room, but without features as we didn't request it. The manager came to the room and offered us a complimentary pot of tea (whilst standing in front of a kettle in our room). The restaurant food was outstanding! Advice don't pick the featured room, just pick the standard room and safe yourself some money
