About Venue

Host extraordinary events, memorable private dinners, share strategy, and bring business to life in the heart of Windsor at The Castle Hotel. Offering a dedicated conference centre with a breakout area and 10 flexible, modern meeting rooms ranging from 2 to 400 delegates including the largest ballroom in Windsor, The Windsor and Georgian Suite. If you are looking for a wow factor for your event, then look no further.

Having gained both the Green Tourism Gold and Green Meetings Gold awards, sustainability is a key focus with a green meetings package offered as standard. Centrally located in Windsor, the hotel is easily accessible and is less than 10 miles from Heathrow Airport. It benefits from being just five-minutes from junction 6 of the M6 and is a short walk from the train station with connections into central London in under an hour. Delegates also benefit from onsite car parking, including EV charging points.

Sutton Hotel Collection is investing £9.5 million in the refurbishment of the Castle Hotel Windsor, to be completed later this year. The multi-phase transformation led by interior designers including 3DReid began in November 2025 and on completion will see a full refresh of all bedrooms and suites across the hotel.

The Mews bedrooms are now completed. Located on the site of the hotel’s former stables they offer six elevated guestrooms including suites with separate lounge areas. Perfect for families, or a more secluded stay. All 108 bedrooms will be refreshed to combine rich colours and soft textures. Thoughtful, updated amenities such as Roberts radios and in-room coffee machines will add to the experience.

Coming soon. At the heart of the hotel’s next chapter is Penningtons, a new restaurant and bar opening alongside the relaunch. Named after 17th-century innkeeper George Pennington, who introduced the locally used Pennington Penny token currency in 1656, the restaurant celebrates the hotel’s heritage as Windsor’s original inn. Developed in partnership with Auden Hospitality, Penningtons will champion British cuisine and local provenance in a relaxed yet polished setting.

The menu will be rooted in familiar British classics with playful twists. A signature feature will be a collection of reimagined British pies, alongside seasonal dishes, a traditional Sunday roast and a dessert trolley. Afternoon tea will also form a central part of the experience for visitors exploring Windsor.

We thank you for your continued support during this period of transformation and look forward to welcoming you and your delegates to the hotel.

Great Hotel. I really want to thank the staff. We had a very early flight into London. We arrived at the hotel at 7am, tired and worn out. Also 8 hours before check in. In less then an hour the staff was able to get a room cleaned and checked us in early. We really needed the sleep and greatly appreciated the wonderful service.

I stayed here last September-it is just down the street from Windsor Castle, as well as all sorts of shops & restaurants. The staff were excellent with the customer service. I did not feel well the first few days I was there, and being able to rest in relative quiet without much noise from the other guests helped. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel has been incredible! Steps from Windsor Castle. Rooms are spacious and so so quiet. The front desk had great recommendations for places to see and eat during our stay here. I especially love the bathroom towel warmers and the extra fluffy comforter on our bed! Its such a beautiful hotel!! Would recommend to anyone who plans to visit Windsor Castle!

The hotel, bar, and restaurant are lovely, but the parking is a bit tricky. I wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay. The Castle is very fortunate to have Alyssia on staff; she was able to help me navigate the parking and cool my temper after being frustrated by local traffic. Her kind words and passion for making sure guests feel cared for made this one of the best hotel stays I've ever had.

Not worth the money at all. The photos indicate the view overlooks the Main Street and the castle. We had a first floor room in the “mews” which felt like we were offered the garage. We had a view of the car park for almost $300 USD for the night. The room was comfortable otherwise. The staff wasn’t available to help with our luggage, so we also got to haul it ourselves down the back steps and across the parking lot. We hauled our luggage (one carry on a piece and a backpack) all across Europe, but I didn’t expect this for the price we paid at this hotel. Fortunately it was steps from the castle and they allowed us to leave our luggage for a couple of hours after check out, so that was somewhat redeeming. I would NOT recommend this hotel for this price. Unfortunate as it was our last night of a six week trip in Europe.
