Browns Sutton Park is a Grade II listed brasserie and bar set within the historic expanse of Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield, one of the largest urban parks in Europe, and one of the most distinctively situated restaurant venues in the West Midlands.
The building has a warm, characterful feel shaped by its parkland setting. Exposed beams, floral wallpaper, soft pendant lighting, and sweeping views out across the park give it a relaxed elegance that is quite different from a conventional city centre venue. A dedicated private bar serves the main function room, and a terrace to the rear of the building gives the venue an outdoor dimension that works particularly well for summer events and wedding receptions.

Three spaces are available for private hire: the Park House Function Room for larger events and weddings, a more intimate Private Dining Room, and The Park Terrace for outdoor occasions. The food menu covers classic British brasserie dishes alongside seasonal specials, with a full gluten-free menu accredited by Coeliac UK, afternoon tea, and bottomless brunch all available. Free on-site parking for 100 cars is available, which makes it a very practical choice for larger gatherings where guests are travelling from across the region.
Sutton Coldfield town centre is a short drive, and the park itself is accessible on foot from several nearby residential areas. Wylde Green and Sutton Coldfield train stations are the closest rail options.

The Park House Function Room is the flagship event space at Browns Sutton Park, set within Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield, with capacity for up to 70 seated or 100 standing guests.

The room has a warm, occasion-ready feel with exposed beams, round tables dressed with white linens, pendant lighting, and views out across the parkland surrounding the building. A private bar is included in the hire, as is a stage, making it well suited to weddings, large birthday parties, corporate events, wakes, and celebrations of all kinds. Guests can connect their own playlist via the PA system. An external garden and terrace area is directly accessible from the room, giving the event an outdoor dimension when the weather allows. Cakes are welcome, but confetti and decorations pinned to the walls are not permitted.
