The Mockingbird is in the heart of Birmingham's creative quarter. Alongside our bar, we also operate two cinema screens (90 seater + 30 seater) that hosts an eclectic programme of cinematic and other events contained within an intimate environment. Our Bar area offers a relaxed environment and is the perfect spot to meet, work and to enjoy our food and drink too! This combination of spaces is what makes The Mockingbird the perfect venue for part or exclusive hire for both public and corporate groups.

March 2025Independent theatre with two screens. Friendly staff, kiosk with food, drink and merchandise. Shows some very interesting movies. I liked the stmosphere .

May 2025I've outgrown the commercial cinemas so love the small intimate setting of the Mockingbird cinema. Sensibly priced drinks, fun bags of pick and mix and popcorn on top of the great range of films on offer makes this my go to place to watch movies. Set in a courtyard within the Custard Factory surrounded by bars and restaurants it's a great place to spend a night out. This is now on my list of places to keep going back to.
