About Venue
The award winning Green House is a beautiful eco-friendly boutique hotel in the heart of Bournemouth that lives and breathes sustainability. The hotel opened in April 2010 to rave reviews and in November 2010 was named ‘Small Hotel of the Year’ at the Bournemouth Tourism Awards.
Just minutes from the white sandy beaches of Bournemouth, this privately owned Grade II Victorian Villa has been extensively renovated with an investment in excess of £5m, to prove that luxury travel and eco-consciousness can co-exist.
On the surface, this 32 bedroom hotel may appear to be the same as many other designer boutique style properties, its contemporary décor, tactile fabrics and quality natural materials including wood, metal and glass, complementing the light airy period rooms and gothic architecture.
Our lovely new Green Hut is ideal for social gatherings and corporate team building or get-togethers. The hut is sheltered, protecting you from the elements, whilst offering a

Very good value at out of season room rates: standard double £95. Super relaxed and quiet (on a Friday evening/ Saturday morning ie no wedding). Lovely grounds. Slightly tucked away, yet close to town centre and the beach. House has history as a villa not one of those horrendous hotels with huge characterless extensions bolted on. Nice touch at reception - a flask of fresh milk. Impressive coffee bags in the room. One for me again at the out of season rates definitely.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious as were the two meals we had in the restaurant in the evening. Service was a little slow,in the mornings, but we think they had staff off sick and it was a busy period, being half term and great weather. The room and bathroom were well decorated and the furniture was a good quality, but we struggle to store our belongings as there was not enough draws etc. Had been there for any longer we would have had a big problem. This was a shame because there was plenty of room for better storage.

This was our first stay and we were very impressed by how premium this hotel felt. For a budget price, it was very good value. We loved how good the decor looked, almost like it had been renovated recently and the free popcorn was a nice touch, as well as the fresh milk on arrival. Plus, the receptionists were very welcoming. That said, there are several improvements I’d like to see: - The shower was very ‘dribbly’ and not powerful enough. - The bed was too small. - A shelf would be nice to put the tea making facilities on, instead of on the floor. - A lock on the toilet door would be good. - A place to put your shampoo, and shower toiletries, rather than having to balance them on the shower taps. - Paying for parking felt like an unnecessary charge. We’d go back.

Had a wonderful break at this venue, it was our anniversary get away after a long time and we had an amazing time. The location is really good about a 10 min walk to the beach and town centre. We did not try the food as we were out most of the day. However, dinner time melt amazing. Next time we plan on having our dinner at the restaurant. We booked the room which had the bath in the room, and it was amazing to chill and watch a movie with a few drinks. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Great location as about 10mins walk to the beach. The reception team are very lovely and welcoming. The rooms are of good size though it gets very hot in the summer heat and they only have quite old model fans in the room that doesn't work very well, there are no air conditioning so bear that in mind. It did get very uncomfortable to sleep in the room that is very hot, even with windows fully opened it didn't do much either. Overall hotel was a little old but clean. Breakfast was standard, you can order hot food, found the portion slightly smaller than expected. If the hotel had air conditioning then we would likely return in the future.
