The Green House, Private Events Room

Please read if you're a ghost hunter. At 03.30 on 1st January in room Ash, my husband and I were sleeping. I woke up to someone walking downstairs but then they came along the corridor outside our room. They became an It! It then tested our door handle, my husband then woke up. We were both looking at our door. It didn't open the door but it somehow walked along the creeky floor leading towards my husbands side of the bed and came to a holt. Both of us were breathing fast, waiting for the jump scare. Felt like ages but was probably 30 seconds. Then it decided to jump up and down on the loudest part of the floor boards for ages. Very childlike. Then it walked out the door, again testing the door handle but the door didn't open and it walked back upstairs. I have never believed. Nor my husband. Its well lit up in the Ash room at night. We both cannot explain that but we definitely think that was paranormal. I thought it was epic. Don't know if i could sleep in there a second night ha ha I was unsure if it was going to turn sinister. It was aware it was scaring us. Obviously more importantly, my friend had an absolutely stunning wedding here. The food and service was out of this world to die for. Very lovely place with excellent facilities. If you're a ghost hunter and you do look into this further, then I look forward to what the outcome is. Another friend and husband from the wedding was upstairs in the hotel and said someone was walking up and down the corridor upstairs from 04.00. We only asked how they slept. So thats 4 people who heard it. Very awesome.

My Husband and I stayed at the Green House Hotel and had a wonderful time. Everything during our stay was lovely, but breakfast truly stood out. Dianne was incredibly attentive, warm, and helpful, making our mornings feel extra special. Her service added a personal touch that we really appreciated. Highly recommend the hotel and especially breakfast with Dianne! We definitely coming back

We have just had the best champagne cream tea ever. All the cakes and scones were homemade and so so fresh. The sandwiches were delicious too. Service was excellent and really could not fault a thing. Would 110% recommend this hotel. Thank you to the waiter, and chefs for making our afternoon most enjoyably, cannot wait to come back and try some more delicious food.
