February 2025Loved staying here because of the staff - they were all so amazing and friendly. The rooms are basic but do the job, the lobby, bar and dining room are decorated beautifully and there are some really comfortable places to sit and read. I had breakfast here which is buffet style and was very good too!

January 2025We had a lovely 2 night stay here in January time. Staff were so friendly. Rooms very clean. Good amenities provided. AC worked very effectively. The location was about a 15-20 minute walk into the main centre of Brighton which was ideal if you don't mind a little walk, plus you could walk along the beach. The only negative were that there were no plug sockets near the beds and only 2 in the whole room. Also on the first morning at breakfast, it took around 30 minutes for our food to arrive, after coming out the first time and being incorrect. There were only two other people at breakfast so we weren't sure why it was so slow. However, once it came out, we very much enjoyed it.

February 2025The staff are friendly, welcoming & kind. I arrived too early & was offered a lovely cup of tea. The bed was so comfy that I almost missed breakfast. Extended my stay, easy to arrange. A gem of an hotel & in great location.

January 2025It's easy to get here by bus. Location is great, just few minutes walk from shops and beach. Came here to attend meeting, so I don't see the room. The ballroom a bit small. Lobby look good. I live the sandwich serve during lunch time. The bread so soft. Front desk staff also friendly.

March 2025I booked the premium room in the seafront hotel and was very disappointed with the mattress. I can cope with a firm mattress but don’t expect a mattress to dip in the middle. The location was great and it was nice having a secure slot to park our car, although we had to pay £28 for the privilege. Breakfast was good and staff pleasant. The lilac decor around the corridors was odd and dated. The hotel is very old and has some lovely features but could do with updating to a more modern neutral colour in some areas.
