November 2024I booked the Rooftop Terrace at Goldbrick house for my super relaxed wedding evening venue and it was perfect! The staff were just amazing and they really made sure that myself and my new husband had a completely stress free occasion. They took care of everything and really let us just be able to enjoy our time. The venue itself is beautiful and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would 1000000% recommend Goldbrick House to anyone. The staff couldn’t do enough for us! They really allowed us to end the perfect day in the most perfect way!

December 2024Eighteen of us enjoyed the most amazing Christmas lunch at Goldbrick House on 6 Dec. We were in the room known as the Roof Terrace and to cut a long story short, it was the best space and the best food we'd had for a Christmas lunch in a long time. Louise could not have been more attentive: the service throughout was exceptional. The food was served hot and there was plenty of it and can I mention that the gravy kept on coming: as much as we wanted. Its a wonderful space for a group: we had it to ourselves. We were on a very generous clock, in fact they delayed serving the lunch whilst colleagues struggled over from Bath so we could eat together. I rarely write reviews but praise should be given where it's due and it is most emphatically deserved and due here. Thank you for a memorable experience: we will be back next year.

December 2024Drink: (edited due to business response) I have no evidence that Whiskey is watered down in this establishment, however, as a review of whiskey and cola served at this venue I can report that it did not taste like the same drink using the same brand names served elsewhere (or at home, although I admit home measures vary from bar measures). In my experience there was a price variation between the same drink type ordered between the bar on the top floor and bar on the middle floor of this venue. Unsure how the discrepancy occurred, as the venue use computerised till points. I would like to clarify that this may just be one personal bad experience considering all the 4 star+ reviews of this venue, but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend.
