About Venue
The building on Pendyris Street, with its redbrick facade and distinctive windows, hosts some of Cardiff's most popular music events all year round. The facilities include a 1000 capacity mezzanine level venue, a 46-seat boutique cinema and a terrace bar.
The Waiting Room is a unique, welcoming cafe bar based at Cardiff's newest music venue, Tramshed. Situated in a beautiful grade 2 listed building, we offer a fresh, casual atmosphere and a new level of hospitality.
Our venue is fully accessible for wheel chair users. The terrace space is perfect for outdoor events too!

Cardiffs best music venue. Would like to see downstairs courtyard bar open more, especially if one upstairs vip only and slightly less packed when there's dance music in djs on for slightly more elbow room ie to make it 5☆+

A great gig venue! Good views for all in all positions. Superb sound and easy access to the bar. Friendly door staff too.

Great live music venue - massive sound and good lighting. All staff seemed very friendly & polite - although (not surprising for a live music venue) the drinks are very expensive
