Stayed with my son for 2 nights for visits to Liverpool, ideal location as we caught the train to Lime Street and its close to the motorway. We used the indoor pool twice, no issues it was clean and warm. Our room was tidy, comfortable and quiet and breakfast buffet was as expected, had no issues during our stay. We stayed on floor 5, the far end looking towards trees.

My first stay at Holiday Inn and what a hugely enjoyable stay it was! The rooms are bright, immaculate, serviced daily and with welcome extra touches..eg boxed tissues, quality toilet paper and soft towels. Food and drinks were good. The staff there are A*, so friendly and helpful. Special thanks go to Kathy, Andrea, Phil, Ben, Mike and Tina 🤗. Oh, and the breakfast is to die for! Huge selection of whatever you fancy. Will DEFINITELY be back..thanks guys!

This hotel has the potential to be great. From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly accommodating especially when I requested a non-feather pillow, which they sorted without fuss. Everyone was friendly and helpful. One of the bar staff had a bit of an edge to him, but still managed to make me smile, so no complaints there. The food was amazing, with very generous portions. However, I would suggest rethinking the air-conditioning in the restaurant, you really have to pick your spot carefully to stay comfortable. The rooms (and particularly the stairway to the downstairs ones) are a bit outdated. While the carpet and beds were lovely, the radiators and bathroom fixtures had quite a bit of rust, and the chair in the room had a questionable stain that didn’t inspire much confidence. Breakfast was great. I usually just have fruit and yogurt, but everything else looked lovely as well. Would I stay here again? Hell yeah!

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant first impression. The lobby was clean and modern, and the breakfast selection was excellent — plenty of variety and good quality. The pool facilities were decent, though nothing particularly standout. Unfortunately, the room was a letdown. It felt quite dated, and both the double bed and sofa bed were among the most uncomfortable we’ve encountered during any hotel stay. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also disappointing — overpriced for what turned out to be mediocre food. The drink selection was quite limited as well, which didn’t help the overall dining experience. Overall, while the service and breakfast were strong points, the comfort of the room and quality of the evening dining experience left much to be desired.
