Located in the leafy suburb of Altrincham, The Cheshire Cookery School is a bright and modern venue with excellent transport links via the M56 and two metrolink stations. Whether you require a fully tailored event or would like the space to yourself, the experienced management team will be happy to help.
The Cookery School is an ideal space for chef training and has been used by many local and national catering firms for this very purpose. The Cookery School is bright with modern decor and state-of-the-art facilities including induction hobs, Kitchen Aid mixers and I O Shen knives. The Meeting & Dining Room is available alongside The Cookery School which makes an ideal break out space or refreshment station.

Venue Hire & Corporate Event Booking and Cancellation Information A 50 % non refundable deposit is required to secure the date, with the balance due 2 weeks prior to the date of the booking. Should you need to change the date of your booking we will endeavor to reschedule your booking, subject to availability and an administrative fee of 25% of the value of the booking. It is only possible to reschedule once. Force Majeure: In the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions preventing an event from running, we will reschedule your booking at a mutually convenient date within 12 months.

I attended the Taste of Asia cookery session with my daughter. We had an absolutely fantastic day. The set up was brilliant, the chef was knowledgeable and really helpful and the recipes we cooked were super tasty and easy to repeat at home. I can strongly recommend this experience and I am sure that we will be back again for some of the other cookery sessions. Thank you for a fab day!

Went with friends and had such a good time! We made dumplings and the chef taught us so many different ways to cook. He was also really helpful like offering to dehead the prawn if needed. There ingredients used were very high quality and they let us take home the leftovers so there was no food waste! We made enough food for the next day also. The chef also made us a snack of chicken wings for a lovely like break whilst cooking. My boyfriend has a milk allergy and this didn’t affect the experience at all. 10/10 would recommend, worth the money and also a lovely bonus of a glass of red to go perfectly with the food.

We had a wonderful evening making dim sum at the cookery school. The chef was was very knowledgeable and made the class fun. We made 2 types of dumplings and some chicken wings, and everything tasted great. Highly recommend!

GREAT FUN 🤩 What a lovely evening we had at the NEW Friday Night Kitchen in Altrincham. Really interesting learning Rob’s tips for good layered flavours and cooking for beginners to more advanced - he was able to spend time with each person and was extremely patient ! Catered for me substituting prawns and squid with beautiful oyster mushrooms, with a salad of raw fennel, tomatoes, olives and lemon juice which was outstanding ! Brilliantly laid out teaching kitchen with very friendly staff working behind the scene to clear and clean as we went along - oh and also serving wine and beer (if you wished ) the evening ended with us all sitting around a table eating together - very well organised and the staff are amazing A really lovely evening
