The Tytherington Club, Dorchester 1

We went for 18 holes as I’ve not played here in 17 years, it didn’t disappoint at all. We were greeted at the golf reception by the manager and assistant who were extremely polite and helpful. We were escorted outside and advised about the practice area, facilities and towards the first tee. The course is extremely well kept but were advised some GUR and development of some sand traps. The fairways and greens are superb and some of the best I’ve seen this summer and a congrats has to go to the ground staff who were very efficient as they were making sure all greens were free from leaves blowing debris away. Tytyerington GC you did not disappoint at all, we will certainly be back and would love to play again!!!! Thank you, some great golf was played.

Very disappointed. Was woken up every hour or so through the night with the soil stack (which my room was at the bottom of) so water and the rest hittin the bottom with a HUGE SLAP whenever the rooms above used the facilities. Email to complain twice, no response. Nice room and hotel. Unfortunately TERRIBLE sleep and customer service. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Not that i think they care.

My family and myself held my dad's wake there yesterday and it was very expensive for what was supposed to be afternoon tea for 30 people was a joke! 3 vegetarian not even a cheese sandwich and the scones were forgotten till we asked where they were, no butter no napkins or tongues for the sandwiches, it was really poor show
