Lovely place to stay. Good prices and a perfect place to stay if you go for a hike on Kinder Scout. Afterward, you can enjoy a spa. The rooms are clean and fresh. If you are very fussy, you can find loads of negative things about everything. We spent a fab time there. Good location.

I only golfed here and used the spa facilities. The golf is great! Course was in great condition even after the very dry season they have had! Greens were in great condition! Good sized putting and chipping areas! Well maintained tee decks and a nice challenging course! I recommend for anyone in the area or visiting! The spa facilities were very clean and lots of amenities. Sauna, steam room, pool, cold plunge and hot tubs! They are even planning to upgrade the whole spa area in the 2026 autumn! I will be back 100% when I’m on my next trip!

Fantastic hotel, our second time here. Only cons are if you go to breakfast after 9 it's a little disheveled, food not topped up very quickly aldo no fridge in the rooms so if you're going for a short break you can't keep drinks cold. The pool, spa, grounds, bedrooms etc are fantastic though and despite any little qualms we'd go back.

Very helpful staff. We attended an event here – it worked well. We have awkward food allergies but don't know if our event organisers failed or Tytherington dropped the ball, because there were no accommodations for us, even though staff had our list of allergens. It wasn't disastrous, but we'd have looked after ourselves if we'd have been told beforehand – We've been doing this for decades and can cope, even if we just pack a snack box. Next time, we're not bothering to rely on the system and we're simply getting a Nando's delivery.😁

Stayed in the Hotel for one night recently, Room on lower ground floor, room was fine but very blah and average. Pillows were too soft. decor was very standard. No tv channels. Asked for an early check in which wasnt possible, asked if we could use pool before check in as we arrived early which also was not alloweed.You only get one towel and have to use that at the pool also - if you want a second towel you are charged, our towels were also stanied. Drinks are expensive 8 Euro for a pint of cider.Spa facilities are good. Overall just a very average stay.
