Ibis Hotel Edinburgh Centre South Bridge, Dining Room

The hotel is nicely located relative to the Royal Mile and Waverly Station. Hotel/ city was PACKED due to a France-Scotland rugby game. We had a few issues but the staff and manager were very polite and helpful in getting everything resolved. Only negative is the eggs for breakfast - think they were powdered eggs.

The hotel is well located and easy to reach, which I really appreciated. However, despite booking a premium room, I was surprised to find no bedside power points. The room had two extension leads, and I had to connect them together just to reach the bed, which didn’t feel ideal for a premium room. The room did include tea and coffee facilities, but these were placed on the small table. This meant the table couldn’t be used for anything else, such as having a late snack or meal, which made it feel a bit impractical. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but the room layout and lack of convenient power outlets could definitely be improved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it was well located and within walking distance to some major landmarks. pleasant staff were on hand to answer any questions and well knowledgeable Well done IBIS team

It's the best IBIS we've stayed in. We're in the Accor loyalty program and stay in Accor properties regularly around the world. This location is fantastic. The staff are attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. Everything one would hope for in hospitality professional. The rooms are quiet and clean. They are scheduled to be updated. soon, not because they are in disrepair, or shabby, they're going to get remodeled. It was a great stay in a vibrant city.
