This hotel was just off the a Royal Mile and close to excellent cafes. Just up the hill from New Town and the train and bus stations. The bed was so comfortable and the room had everything you'd need. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast having everything hot and cold available(we didn't use it at other times so can't comment). Would definitely recommend. There is a shop just across the street for storing luggage cheaply in case you go on a tour and can't take all your things.

Honestly a great place to stay if you visit Edinburgh over the weekend or for 3-4 days. It’s super well located in the center of the city, with everything being accessible by walk or by bus. 🚌 the reception is very friendly and helpful. There is also a bar/restaurant which is quite cozy. The room are quite spacious too, with all the necessary amenities you might need. Just keep in mind to bring an outlet adapter if you come from Europe!

Excellent location, central. Staff is cool. The rooms is good size, well equipped with coffee/tea and adaptors. The bed is comfortable and the pillow is amazing (I'd like to know where I can purchase one like this). The bathroom is super new, clean and quality shampoo and body soap. Thr breakfast is worth the price of 13 pounds, with special mention to the bacon, delicious.

Great location close to Waverley Station and The Festival Theatre. Hotel staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Room was pretty basic but clean and comfortable with a good mattress. All the facilities in the bathroom 'pod' worked well and the shower was very good. We enjoyed a reasonably priced cocktail in the bar and I was really impressed by the breakfast buffet. My only complaint was the outside noise from a nearby bar or club with a loud sound system which we could hear in our third floor room until 03:00 AM, next time I'll request a room on a higher floor. Apart from that no complaints.

Reception was awesome, checking in especially, but everyone was so friendly. Breakfast was lovely.. clean, well presented, ample choice. Bar was fine but did not sell vodka...in fact acted like they'd never heard of it!...yet they do cocktails 🤔 The room was fine, no sockets near bed but there was an extension cable. Shower was good, bathroom very clean. The bed....pillows weren't the best, struggled to get spare ones out as the zip was broken, sheets didn't cover the bed well (maybe too much to one side) so i woke up lying on the topper with my folded-over pillow going down the back of the bed...in comparison my husband had a great night's sleep! All in all the stay was definitely more good than bad so will probably return.
