If you're a student, definitely book your tickets in advance—it's incredibly affordable right now at just over £12! The entire experience is fantastic. The exhibition is exceptionally well-designed and packed with rich, fascinating content. A major highlight for me was the VR experience, which gives you an amazing, immersive look inside the Engine Room—don't skip it! Tip: Try to visit on a clear, sunny day if you can. The views from the deck are absolutely breathtaking. Standing out there in the sunshine, looking out at the distant coastline, is incredibly peaceful and refreshing. Highly recommend catching this while you can! 🚢✨

One of the top attractions in Edinburgh and an absolute must-visit. The Royal Yacht Britannia is beautifully preserved and feels as if it could set sail again tomorrow. You get to explore almost every part of the ship, including the State Apartments, the Queen's private rooms, and the former Prince of Wales's quarters, all kept much as they were during the yacht's years of service. One of the highlights is the Royal Deck Tea Room on the upper deck. Having a meal or afternoon tea on board a former royal yacht is a unique experience, and it's absolutely worth it. Before leaving, you'll pass through a huge gift shop that's full of high-quality souvenirs. It's the kind of place where it's genuinely difficult to leave empty-handed. Highly recommended.

Great view of the history of this Royal Yacht. I’ve sort of heard of this living in the US but never thought it was this beautiful. Really well all pointed and so much bigger on the inside than when you look at it from the outside. If you are in Edinburgh and talented hop o hop off bus take the blue line and the stop is next to the Yacht. It is well worth the visit.
