Fantastic time at the Royal Yacht. Really easy to get to on the tram from Edinburgh city centre. Wonderful easy to follow tour which means you don’t miss anything- audio guide is great as you can play and pause and skip and replay etc as much as you like. Making it a more personal experience than a tour guide. Really nice to see work going on to preserve the boat. Upkeep is incredible. Wonderful to see the photos of her in use and the royal family enjoying her. We had lunch in the tea room efficient and professional service with wonderful views of the sea 🌊

Fantastic experience that is incredibly well thought out and executed from beginning to end — kudos to the Royal Yacht Britannia Trust on a job exceptionally well done! The ship itself is beautifully maintained and absolutely immaculate, inside and out. The self-guided audio tour is excellent, both in terms of content and delivery. This was my second visit to Britannia, the first being a decade ago, and the experience has only improved with the addition of the Royal Deck Tea Room. The menu, along with the quality of the food and beverages served, was outstanding. I ordered the coronation chicken sandwich and it was delicious. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. From the first person we encountered to the last, everyone was professional, welcoming, friendly, immaculately groomed, and clearly passionate about what they do. It is also evident that the Trust hires exceptionally well and invests in training to a very high standard. Most notably, Gayle in the tea room was a delight to meet — polished, professional, and instrumental in setting the stage for a wonderful dining experience. Britannia is beautifully cared for and her history respectfully honoured at her home in Leith. I could not recommend the experience more highly. It is absolutely worth the price of admission.

We Loved the visit the the Royal Yacht Britannia. The initial walk through of historic background set us up for a very interesting afternoon. Loved the extended family photo wall. The history of the Royal family on board and the many significant people they hosted is thoroughly entertaining. The Yacht, although old and retired, is definitely worth visiting. We stayed for 2.5 hours and that included a very nice afternoon tea of scones and hot chocolate and tea.

Really good attraction. Took us a good couple of hours to walk around. Really good price. It was so wonderful to see how our late Queen Elizabeth spend her down time. She liked the relaxed atmosphere of the yacht. Really so pleased we went. Also, have cream tea onboard. Its not overpriced.
