Used to be a lot cheaper, but I must admit the new lux seats are really good. Just don’t like the pricing. First two rows are cheap then almost double for 3rd row back

Absolutely appalling temperature control in screens 11 and 12 during Edinburgh International Film Festival 2025. On warm summer days (23-25°C outside), these screens were kept at what felt like 16°C or below. I wore 3 layers (after the first bad experience, I brought those with me for next film I had booked tickets for to layer up before the screening) plus a coat over my shoulders and STILL felt cold air blowing directly on my face and ears, giving me a runny nose from the low temperature. This is completely unacceptable - you shouldn't need to dress for arctic conditions to watch a film. The temperature appeared to be well below the 20°C minimum recommended by UK building standards (CIBSE Guide B). This level of cold is particularly discriminatory against women and elderly customers who feel the cold more. When asked, the Omni’s staff admitted they didn't control the temperature - it's set by an external company who clearly don't care about customer comfort. Disappointing that festival-goers have to endure these conditions while trying to enjoy the films. Sort out your AC system. Customers are paying to enjoy films, not to catch colds from your inadequate temperature control. Will not return until this is fixed.
