12 screens of top-notch audio-visual technology, catering and satellite capabilities, Vue Edinburgh Omni ticks all the boxes when it comes to picking a venue for business meetings and events. Think conferences, awards ceremonies, AGMs, presentations, seminars, training days, product launches, and of course, film parties and private screenings.
The auditorium capacities range from 49-156 and have cutting edge Sony 4K digital projectors and Dolby Digital 6.1 Surround Sound, a very professional ready-made set up for your event. Make use of the reception area for registration and coffee, then take your delegates through to the auditorium of your choice for the main event, delivered with precision, and if it’s all part of the agenda, breakout or drinks/canapes reception in our bar.
The venue also boasts a fibre cable connection making it perfect for software demonstrations, streaming in & out and even linking up with other Vue venues countrywide for multi-site satellite conferencing. Impressed? Your guests certainly will be.

The cinema is ideal for holding corporate events, conferences, product launches, PR Initiatives, AGM's, trainings or private screenings for staff or large groups of friends. Our main screens vary in capacities from 49-156 seats depending on your needs, with at least 2 wheelchair bays in each screen. Screen 3 is our dedicated fibre connected screen, ready for your software demo, or stream in & out to other sites using our fast speed connection.

Watched ‘hoppers’ Very charming and immersive movie, seemingly for children but mostly teenagers and young adults. A smaller than usual cinema room but could just be because the omni isn’t that spacious it appears. Staff seemed to be slightly miserable to work there but overclouded by the lovely movie

One of the few Vue/Odeon cinemas in the city where the audience are respectful. I refuse to go anywhere else as they are inundated with morons who think they can talk, go on their phones or generally not give 2 💩s about their fellow quiet-loving-I-want-to-watch-a-film-in-a-cinema-so-have-the-courtesy-to-respect-that man. Timings are good and they pretty much show everything. One star off as staff are also a wee bit moronic as they regularly forget to turn the lights off at the start of the showing. Another simple cinematic request. In short, if you want to watch a film this is a good venue as people who frequent it seemingly still know how to behave.
