Had a fantastic time at the Spa. The pamper and prosecco package was lovely! The staff are extremely friendly and service was amazing. The spa is huge and incredible. Sian did my facial and she was so professional and very good at her job. I felt so relaxed! Dolly in the shop is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was in awe of how much she knew. Just to add that it was very hot and the rooms don’t have air conditioning. They did give us two fans but it was still incredibly warm. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was amazing though. Overall a lovely stay, I can’t wait to return!

The resort is very pretty and is set in some lovely grounds. The building feels luxury and the staff are great. Special mention to Vicky from housekeeping for making our room lovely. The gardens are absolutely stunning and well maintained. It's also nice to have the woods nearby which make for a lovely walk. The resort is tucked away and feels generally very peaceful. The food was alright at breakfast, nothing groundbreaking just a decent fry up. Coffee could do with some work. However, the rooms were roasting hot with no obvious thermostat controls - heating and no AC available. The fan didn't quite cut the mustard. Even having the door open didn't keep it cool enough and the outside temp wasn't very high compared to what this been. The rooms however have a nice (albeit very creaky), with a nice bathroom all very modern and spacious. The staff were mentioning to people who complained about the road closures that they were short staffed and they did look quite rushed so maybe the management could try to take on some more.

Hi, We came for the day to enjoy a relaxing spa experience. While the spa itself, the massage, and the staff were all lovely, I feel the restaurant could benefit from some improvements. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere and a dress code, which we appreciated, as we value a certain level of respect and presentation. Unfortunately, our experience with the front-of-house staff did not reflect the standard that the venue appears to aim for. The hostesses would benefit from additional training in customer service and communication. In a setting such as this, the way guests are welcomed and spoken to is extremely important. We were told that a table in a particular section of the restaurant was unavailable because the area was fully booked, despite several tables remaining empty throughout our visit. The explanation was unclear and delivered in a rather dismissive manner. In addition, drinks menus were placed abruptly on the table, even on top of glasses, and there was very little eye contact or engagement from staff. The waiting staff also seemed rushed and detached, delivering drinks without acknowledging guests (almost bumped into us). These may seem like small details, but they have a significant impact on the overall dining experience. This feedback is offered because the venue itself is beautiful, with a refined atmosphere and prices that reflect a premium experience. Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant did not match the quality of the surroundings. I rarely leave negative reviews, but given the standard the establishment presents itself as offering, I believe the customer service should be held to the same high level as the spa and facilities. Kind regards,

Stayed at this spa and hotel for 2 nights, got to have breakfast and dinner at their premises. Along with drinks at the bar. This was all good. My reason for staying at a spa is to relax and have a get away for a day or to but the massage is very important.. I must say if the massage was good it would’ve easily been a 4 or 5 star review. However the massage was below average for my previous experiences at spas and with masseuses, you’d expect more from a spa. Honestly I was really looking forward for the massage and it was a let down. Location was very good hence given a 5 star for location. Rooms did not have A.C. or a fridge so keep in mind. We were more worried about having a cold water to have for the night and had to leave the balcony doors open over night. Still liveable as there is a nice view and it’s quiet. I know it’s a 4 star hotel, however for the price you’re paying for the hotel and spa facilities, I strongly believe there should be an a.c. at least. Overall, I would visit again to stay in their hotel if I was in the local area as I liked the environment and the peace, may give their massage another go as the location was very nice in my opinion.

Was expecting excellence but received very average service with rude stuff and food below average. Location it is amazing with beautiful walks and gardens but the hotel itself needs updating. Paint peeling off walls and wood work, exterior could do with cleaning/maintenance. The spa itself was ok but steam room wasn’t working, The hot tub had 5 out of the 8 jets working, Toilet handles looking like they had come out of the titanic with rust all over them the spa is just looking tired and in need of a update/again maintenance. The restaurant well lunch couldn’t fault at all the dinner was ok but small portions and not worth the £87 price for 2 people especially when it was just olives, 2 starter size portions, mocktail and a cocktail seems very expensive for what it is. Now Breakfast I would have to say one of the most disappointing and disgusting I’ve ever had and especially when my wife being 7 months pregnant asking if she could have just egg white scrambled to be told no we don’t do that here was an utter joke. Also the eggs were so undercooked that there was slop in the bottom of the tray, vegan sausages were cold so was the hash browns just no flavour at all. There are flys everywhere with nothing to stop them from landing on food that is just out in the open. We ended up going out for dinner on our second night to come back at 9:30 my wife asking the bar staff just for a cup of ice to be told we’ll only have 4 ice cubes left and there is a water dispenser down the hall you can have water there again just rude beyond belief. How can a hotel/restaurant/bar run out of ice when there are still people in the bar and restaurant??? So to the room now was a nice size great view but so hot no AC in the hotel at all and the beds themselves are uncomfortable but I appreciate that everyone has different mattresses firmness likings. So for me the hotel needs completely renovating/ staff in the restaurant need training on how they speak to customers and the food needs to be looked into. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel/spa it needs lots of work to be anywhere near acceptable
