10th of November 2025 for one night and two days. This was an excellent 2nd stay. With Wonderful staff, it would not be fair to pick one out in particular. The food, excepting the very tasteless (expensive) soup, was 5* i could not fault it. Presented beautifully. Servers, were very well presented and knowledgeable. The customer service was top notch the in the whole of the Hotel and Spa. The room was immaculate in both cleanliness and furnishings, and the bed was as good as I sleep on at home ( Orthopaedic). The shower was hot, and powerful with a good quality shower gel and Shampoo. View of the beautiful sunken garden is a stunning way to wake up. The tea bags are Twinnings, so you can also have a good cup of tea! Room; Mulberry number 81 it has two good sized single beds, a huge tv and a very large walk in shower. Loved it! Many thanks Carol Swaine

Had an amazing time with friends. The rooms were clean, spacious & comfy, with great views over the stunning grounds. The staff are all friendly, warm & very helpful. I had a wonderful relaxing hot stone massage, which left me floating. The facilities were excellent & food was so tasty. We'll definitely be going back again & again.

My husband and I went to the Lifehouae Spa for an evening Spa and supper which consisted of a three course meal and full use of all the facilities. Upon arrival at 5pm the Spa was too full, it was a struggle to get a sunbed and all facilities seemed maxed out! BUT....after about 1 hour it really started to thin out and we had such a great time. The restaurant food was exceptional, absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive and so pleasant. I would thoroughly recommend the evening Spa, it was just enough time at the resort and we loved it!

This is the first time I have been to a spa place. Staff were professional. I wasn't told by my sister though they took £100 pounds off me for a holding fee. For having extras throughout our stay £50 per person..We didn't use this service Lucky I managed to afford this, The place has beautiful grounds to walk around. The food throughout my stay was lovely.cooked fresh every day And Cooked to a high standard I had the vegetarian option. Which was delicious and cooked to perfection. We also had afternoon tea. Booked in advance Which was well worth the money This was a short break away during the week. Highly recommended place to chill out and relax for a few days. Treatment's are expensive. Your better off booking in advance online. I felt refreshed and relaxed when I left the place. It has a calming effect on people.

Not too sure which was worse the hotel or the spa. The hotel is not realistically walking distance to anywhere so when we were told at 6.30 we couldn’t eat at the restaurant until 8.45 it was irritating. We asked why we couldn’t eat in the empty bar area and the very unhelpful manager said we could but we could not order anything other than an appetiser. After a lot of pleading and waiting 20 mins to speak to the manager they offered to drive us to a local bar to eat. Crazy when all they needed to do was eat in the bar. Ruined the stay. The spa is just an accident waiting to happen. It’s just pitch black. The overcrowded jacuzzi was luke warm. Steam room was good but it was just so dangerous in the dark my wife walked into a glass panel and has a bump the size of an egg next day on her head. It’s everything a relaxing romantic evening isn’t. We considered just giving up and getting a taxi home for the night but couldn’t get a taxi for such a long trip on a Friday night.
